Simon is a major antagonist in the 2025 French RPG, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. He was a member of Expedition Zero and a close friend of Verso, having originally set out to find survivors following the Fracture. He was also the love interest of Clea.
Initially believed to have died long ago, Simon had been sealed away in the Abyss where he originally intended to fight the Curator, hoping his defeat would free Clea from her suffering. Unfortunately, he too would be repainted by the real Clea herself, having him serve as her loyal warrior and enforcer.
He is voiced by Rich Keeble in the English version of the game.
Personality[]
Much of Simon's self remains unknown, but based on his journal entry and his history with Verso, he was a well respected friend and a loyal companion to his sister, Clea. He was deeply in love with her, so much that when he tragically learned of her fate by her real self, he desperately sought out ways to find her.
By the time Verso and his allies confront him in the Abyss, however, much of his mind had been broken, giving into his despair. As he clings onto his memory of Clea, he acts in accordance to her will, leading him to attacking his former friend without second thought.
However, upon his defeat, he manages to briefly recollect a bit of his true self, recognizing Verso. As a result, he passes his weapon down to him, pleased to see his old friend once more.

- His theme for his second and third phase, "We Lost", is a remixed version of Renoir's theme, "Une vie à t'aimer". It was also the working title for the game itself.
- Simon's health pool is estimated to be roughly 50 million, having the highest health pool of any enemy in the game.
