Simon Walker is a fictional character and major antagonist of the Channel 4 British soap opera Hollyoaks. He debuted on May 2012 and became one of the show's main antagonists up until his departure on March 2013 itself.

He was portrayed by Neil Newbon, who is also known for doing the motion capture as well as the voice of Detective Gavin Reed in the video game Detroit: Become Human.

Biography

Simon Walker was known throughout most of his time in the show simply as Walker, even being credited under only his surname during his whole run in the show. The only person who ever usually referred to him by his first name was his sworn enemy Brendan Brady.

During his time on the show, Simon became a suspect in the “Who Killed Lynsey Nolan?” storyline. He also accidentally shot regular character Riley Costello, which resulted in Riley’s death, during this time. After killing Riley, he took Brendan’s son Declan hostage and drugged him before threatening to make him overdose as karma for Brendan giving Walker’s brother Cam the drugs that put him into a coma, leading to Cam’s death. However, Walker was unsuccessful in his attempt to murder Declan as the latter was found before Walker could do the job. He left the show for a while before returning in January 2013. He would remain in the show until March of the same year before meeting his demise when he was kicked in front of an oncoming train by Brendan during a fight.
