Hi. This is Thesecret1070. I am an admin of this site. Edit as much as you wish, but one little thing... If you are going to edit a lot, then make yourself a user and login. Other than that, enjoy Villains Wiki!!!
The Sinister Six are the main antagonists of Sony's Pictures Animation 18th full-length animated feature film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, the first installment in the Spider-Verse trilogy.
They are a group that consists in six members based on the Sinister Six from the Marvel Comics.
According to the Kingpin who also started to benefit the science research & development company known as Alchemax, with its CEO being Doctor Octopus, and amassed a group of several supervillains that he hired to be enforcers and henchmen on his payroll, such as Green Goblin, Prowler, Scorpion and Tombstone.
Aaron Davis (before his supervillainous role as The Prowler) encourages his nephew Miles to pursue his passion for graffiti by taking him to an abandoned subway to spray paint on a wall. While admiring the art, he reveals to Miles about how Jefferson and him always used to do graffiti and tags before Jefferson became a cop. Aaron then gets a message from his phone which tells him that he is needed and while they are leaving, Miles gets bitten by a radioactive spider which gives him his powers.
Later, Green Goblin appears battling Spider-Man in the subway laboratory. Spider-Man tries to tell him that he cannot let the super-collider open portals to other dimensions but Green Goblin tells him that it's not up to him. The newly bitten Miles Morales is then inadvertently flung into the battle, but Spider-Man saves him and he realizes that Miles is like him and promises to train him after he destroys the super-collider.
Prowler fights Spider-Man until Green Goblin pins him down. Kingpin arrives and activates the super-collider. Green Goblin is then temporarily knocked out by debris caused by the super-collider. Spider-Man prepares to deactivate it but Green Goblin angrily prevents him and then decides to kill Spider-Man by putting him in front of the energy of the super-collider. Kingpin, realizing the problems this would cause, commands Green Goblin to cease, but he refuses to listen and the super-collider explodes, which kills Green Goblin, burying him in the wreckage of the super-collider, and mortally injures Spider-Man, who is then finished off by Kingpin with a crushing over-head smash. Later, Miles Morales would take on the role to fulfill his promise to Spider-Man.
Following the explosion, Kingpin, Prowler and Tombstone search for the injured Spider-Man, who gives a USB drive designed to destroy the Super Collider to Miles, asking him to escape and destroy the machine for him. Kingpin then finds Spider-Man, who reveals that he knows why he is trying to use the Super Collider but insists that it won't work. Rather than listen to Spider-Man, Kingpin kills him in a fit of rage, subsequently ordering his enemy's body to be disposed of and the Collider to be rebuild. Upon noticing that an unseen Miles had witnessed the murder, Kingpin orders Prowler to kill him, though Miles ultimately escapes. News of Spider-Man's death quickly rocks New York, leading to Miles becoming fixated on following through with his promise to destroy the Super Collider. Unknown to Kingpin, an older, fatter and more disheveled version of Spider-Man from an alternate universe is summoned due to Spider-Man's DNA coming in contact with the Super Collider, and he and Miles decide to team up to stop the Super Collider and return the former to his universe.
Conflict with the Other Spider-People[]
Going to Alchemax to create a new version of the USB drive (which had previously broken), Spider-Man leaves Miles behind while he infiltrates the building, however, Miles decides to come along upon seeing Kingpin and Tombstone enter the building. Kingpin begins to pressure Olivia into finishing the super-collider, while, at the same time, Miles and Spider-Man begin to take the information they need. She walks in on Spider-Man and realizes that he is from another universe. She examines the overweight counterpart, before restraining him in a chair and discovers that staying too long out of his home dimension causes his cells to degenerate.
Olivia then states she looks forward to it before she reveals herself to be "Doctor Octopus" and attacks Spider-Man. Miles steals the computer and its system unit, and Spider-Man follows him which leads to them being chased down by her and the Alchemax scientists.
Doctor Octopus is close to getting the computer and its hardware back before Spider-Gwen saves them and they escape. When Doctor Octopus returns without the hardware, Fisk is enraged at her for failing, though she insists that the appearance of more Spider-People only confirms that the super-collider will work and that he will be able to summon as many alternate versions of his family as he wants once it is working again after squishing a few spiders. Fisk begrudgingly sees her point and tells her to get the machine up and running.
Later, after Miles finds out that his uncle Aaron is really the Prowler and escapes from his apartment, the latter tracks him down and leads Kingpin, Doctor Octopus, Scorpion and Tombstone to Aunt May's house, where they and the other Spider-Men summoned by the super-collider (Spider-Man Noir, Peni Parker, and SP//DR, and Spider-Ham) start to fight for the USB drive which destroys the house.
Final Battle and Defeat[]
That night, Kingpin hosts a gala ostensibly in honor of the fallen Spider-Man, even inviting his widow Mary Jane Watson to the affair, but in reality only uses it as a distraction while his scientists finish rebuilding and reactivate the Super Collider to summon an alternate version of Kingpin's family. The Spider-Men manage to sneak into the affair and make their way below Fisk Tower to destroy the Super Collider, but end up getting ambushed by Doctor Octopus, Scorpion, Tombstone and Kingpin's mobsters (Kingpin and the other supervillians having anticipated that they would come and foil the plot). However, Miles, now fully embracing his role as Spider-Man, quickly arrives to help, and they succeed in defeating them all. Enraged at the Spider-Men for interfering with the Collider again and ruining his chances of reuniting with his family, Kingpin jumps in to stop them after all but Peter had been sent home, the latter deciding to leave Miles to deal with the villain, fully confident that he will be able to win and shut down the Collider. The two proceed to fight within the Collider, and in that moment, alternate versions of Vanessa and Richard appear, who are all equally horrified at his actions just as the others had been.
Blaming Spider-Man for taking his family from him once again, Kingpin brutally beats Miles down, sadistically remarking that he's going to make sure he never sees his own family ever again. However, encouraged by his father, Miles stands up to Kingpin, and remarks that he will never be separated from his family, before delivering a venom blast which seemingly incapacitates Kingpin and ends up destroying the Super Collider for good. Afterwards, Miles webs Kingpin up and leaves him to be arrested by the New York City Police Department, who discover him shortly after Miles and his father make amends.
Later, Jefferson arrives at Miles' school to tell of Aaron's fate while he tries to apologize for his mistakes that he made to Miles and believes that he will not talk to him (not knowing that Miles is all webbed up to his chair). However, Miles finally embraces his powers and becomes the new Spider-Man through the words of inspiration of his parents, uncle and Peter B. Parker. He then helps return the Spider-People to their dimensions, defeats Kingpin using the shoulder-touch technique Aaron taught him (giving Kingpin an electric venomous blast in the process), clears his name, and becomes the new Spider-Man. In addition, Miles and Jefferson spray paint a memorial to Aaron at the police station Jefferson works at, showing that Jefferson has fully forgiven his brother despite not approving of his past.
