reSinners are the main antagonists of the manga series Reincarnation no Kaben. Comprised of several Reincarnators--creatures who are reincarnated from notable people in real life and had their ability from their previous live activated after slashing their neck with a branch called Branch of Reincarnation--who committed several atrocities during their lifetime, The Sinners were led by the Tyrant King, Kouu, and is the largest enemy of another Reincarnator organization, "Forest of the Greats". Initially perceived as a group who has the intention on causing chaos across the world, their motives aren't what it seems to be as the manga progressed.
History[]
Ten years ago prior to the main story, after Kouu and his friends established the organization known as Forest of the Greats in order to bring World Peace, he then decided to gather several Sinners across the world in a derelict warehouse such as Adolf Hitler, Pol Pot, Albert DeSalvo, Gaius Julius Caesar and Charlotte Corday as Kouu attempts to persuade them to join the Forest of the Greats as he views them as equals with similar circumstances.
Despite this, Hitler was hesitant on accepting Kouu's idea due to the existence of the Sinners being reincarnated from infamous historical figure who is best known for their atrocity which would clash with Forest of the Greats ideals establishing world peace. Despite this, Kouu manages to win their hearts with his persuasion skills while also attempting to control their impulses such as making Albert DeSalvo squashing several big things while also promising that if the sinners got devoured by talents, he will mercy kill them.
Unfortunately, the peace didn't last for both Sinners and Forest of the Greats as they were being incriminated after an unknown assailant attacks Kouu's best friend, Senji Seiya's, brother, Senji Touya, which resulted in Seiya attempting to eradicate all of The Sinners from the face of the Earth. Displeased by his idea because Kouu views the Sinners as his companions, Kouu then ended up gravely wounding Seiya which resulted in Kouu getting wounded also.
Despite this, Seiya decides to teleport both him and Kouu outside and having a cordial talk together about Seiya's own brother before Kouu discovering that Seiya had succumbed to his wound. After seeing what happened with his Mastermind talent, Hitler then decides to escort Kouu to safety as they decided to gather several comrades and armies to fight against Forest of the Greats while wanting to know who set them up.
At the same time, when Kouu was injured, the Sinners were enraged about what happened as they attempt to attack The Forest of the Greats for the things they had done to them. Despite this, Kouu decides to calm them down and attempt to disband the organization. However, all of the Sinners did not accept Kouu's idea to disband as they threaten to cause more bloodshed. Empathizing with their situation, Kouu decides to make a pocket dimension near the remote Eurasian Mountains in order to make their talents bloom before meeting their end.
In the present day, while some Sinners attempt to go unnoticed in several rural areas, they were mostly eliminated by Forest of the Greats after some of them causing several ruckus in certain areas with some of them even being captured by the Self-Defense Force Black Edge Unit members to be interrogated. In addition, they were also perceived by Forest of the Greats as an organization that must be stopped due to them potentially bringing harm to the world despite being not the case.
Eventually, the organization dissolved themselves during the epic battle against Forest of the Greats in Kouu's pocket dimension as all of them were murdered by the members of Forest of the Greats while both Kouu and Charlotte Corday decided to end their life after their work is done but not before telling Touya the truth about Forest of the Greats and giving his own talent to Touya to use.
Their last appearance is on the Omake Chapter 37.5 when all of the deceased Forest of the Greats members and the Sinners having their time of their life together in an afterlife as Kouu enter the room when they were hang around together. After meeting with Seiya in the afterlife and having a friendly banter with him, Kouu decided to hold a banquet together with the people in the afterlife.

- Kouu: The leader of the Sinners and one of it's original members alongside Charlotte Corday, Gaius Julius Caesar, Adolf Hitler, Pol Pot and Albert DeSalvo, he is a reincarnation of the Chinese infamous warlord, Xiang Yu, who is notorious on massacring around two-hundred thousand people during his lifetime as he restored the Chu State in 208 BC and is responsible for the fall of the Qin Dynasty during the Battle of Julu while also becoming a notorious figure during the Chu-Han contention due to his thirst of power which resulted in him fighting against the founder of Han Dynasty, Liu Bang. It is also revealed that he is one of the founding members of Forest of the Greats before being betrayed and incriminated by one of its members as his best friend, Senji Seiya's, younger brother, Touya, was attacked by an unknown assailant. He is acting as the leader, the heart and the father figure towards the Sinners and has the intentions of coexisting with Forest of the Greats. His talent is Omnireceptacle which is a talent that has the ability to control everything with his own battle aura.
- Charlotte Corday D'Armont: A reincarnation of the French Assassin, Charlotte Corday, who is the notorious figure of the French Revolution in 1793 before being executed with guillotine due to her atrocities of killing the Jacobian Leader, Jean-Paul Marat. In the present day, reincarnating as an enigmatic yet beautiful girl who developed a rather misanthropic hatred towards other people including her family to the point she wants to use her talent to kill them, Kouu ended up persuading her to join his side by helping her searching for the best ending. Being one of the figures that is truly kind to her, Charlotte then develops a huge infatuation towards Kouu and become increasingly hostile when someone decides to attack Kouu or badmouthing him. Her talent is Angel of Assassination which is a talent that is able to kill anyone as long as she knew their own name in exchange of killing her life in the end. She is also one of the original members of the Sinners alongside Kouu, Gaius Julius Caesar Hitler, Pol Pot and Albert DeSalvo.
- Nostradamus: A reincarnation of the French Astrologer, Michel de Nostredame, latinized as Nostradamus, who is best known of his book called "Les Prophéties" that is infamous of its scary ability being able to predict the future. Acting as one of Kouu's right hand man, he was introduced at first by getting captured by the Self-Defense Force Black Edge Unit members and was interrogated about Branch of Reincarnation as he attempted to escape several times. He meet his own death alongside Gaius Julius Caesar during the fight against one of the members of the Forest of the Greats, Haito Le Buffet, after she activates her monstrous form and ended up joining the Departure Room in the Afterlife alongside Caesar in Chapter 31 Omake. Even after his death, Nostradamus also helps the heroes by leaving a braille message via bullet marks as he was intentionally letting himself getting shot by the Self-Defense Force during his escape in order to tell them the source of the Branch of Reincarnation. His talent is The Great Prediction which not only able to predict several future, but also manage to alter the future itself albeit with several limitations.
- Adolf Hitler: A reincarnation of the infamous German Fascistic Dictator, Adolf Hitler, who is the leader of the Nazis and is responsible for one of the biggest tragedies in human history known as the Holocaust and is also one of the prominent figures in World War II. In the manga, he is reincarnated as a cute yet cunning little boy and is one of Kouu's five elite generals in the Sinner Organization. Always teaming up with Pol Pot during the fight, he even acts as his translator due to him being unable to speak and at the very least, the brains of Pol Pot's muscle. His talent is Mastermind as he has the ability to detect his own surroundings by using the symbol of Hakenkreuz towards other animals or living beings alike. He is also one of the original members of the Sinners alongside Kouu, Charlotte Corday, Gaius Julius Caesar, Pol Pot and Albert DeSalvo.
- Pol Pot: A reincarnation of the infamous Cambodian Communist Dictator, Pol Pot, who is the leader of the Khmer Rouge who is also responsible for the Cambodian Genocide that killed millions of people due to his radical attempt at transforming Cambodia towards communism. In this manga, he is reincarnated as a handsome and mute dark skinned man and is one of Kouu's five elite generals. He mostly acts as a body for Adolf Hitler as he was paired together during the fight due to his inability to speak. His talent is Fruit of Corruption which has the ability to make everything in his surrounding decayed with his aura. He is also one of the original members of the Sinners alongside Kouu, Charlotte Corday, Gaius Julius Caesar, Adolf Hitler and Albert DeSalvo.
- Gaius Julius Caesar: A reincarnation of the Roman General of the same name, he is responsible for the Roman Republic attacks towards Britain which causes Gallic Wars and also introducing the Roman influences towards Gaul (One of the country Caesar's conquered that is now considered as Modern Day France). In addition to all of this, Caesar is also known as a dictator who defied the Senate's authority which causes a civil war and is notorious for his authoritarian and populist reforms as he declares himself as a dictator for life (Dictator Perpetuo in Latin) before being assassinated by Brutus and Cassius. Despite this, he left a long-lasting mark in his legacy with his name being used as a synonym for an "Emperor". Perhaps he is famous for his affair towards Cleopatra. In the manga, he acted as the mole for Forest of the Greats while acting like a goofball womanizer as he joined both Yagyuu and Haito to defeat their enemies before betraying them in the end, revealing himself to be one of Kouu's five elite generals, while knocking Yagyuu unconscious which triggered Haito's monstrous form which led him to his impending doom as he was defeated alongside Nostradamus in the end which resulted in them ending in the Departure Room afterlife in Chapter 32 Omake alongside Nostradamus. In the past, he was also interested with the mysterious nature of the branch and petals of reincarnation to the point he attempted to do a research on it. His talent is The Heroes Testament that can summons every weapon on his disposal and his tenacity of being prepared. He is also one of the original members of the Sinners alongside Kouu, Charlotte Corday, Adolf Hitler, Pol Pot and Albert DeSalvo.
- Hans-Ulrich Rudel: A reincarnation of the Germany military pilot during the World War II as he manages to destroy more than eight hundred vehicles which includes tanks, battleship, cruiser and so on while also helping several war criminals to escape to Middle East and South America with one of them being Josef Mengele. In the manga, as he becomes one of Kouu's five elite generals, he establish his appearance by setting a bomb in a colosseum-like building when Touya and another member of Forest of the Greats, Hiroshi Funasaka, traveled to the Earth base while also becoming a compatible enemy with each other due to their immortal status while also died gracefully before telling Touya that Kouu has waited for him in his castle before accepting his death. His talent is Phoenix which can summons several war weapons in his disposal.
- Carlos Hathcock: A reincarnation of the Vietnamese War sniper as he was confirmed to kill ninety people during the battle in Vietnam as he earns his moniker "The White Feather" by the Vietnamese soldiers. In the manga, despite being lauded as a hero during his lifetime and has the trait that could make him join the Forest of the Greats, he instead joins Kouu's side and become one of Kouu's five elite generals. During the battle between Forest of the Greats and the Sinners, Hathcock manages to weaken Forest of the Great as he shot one of the its members, The Wright Sisters when they let their guard down while also managing to overpower Hans Dreisch and his cloning ability before being stopped by Simo Hayha as the two fight with each other before dying together. As Kouu failed to create a coexistence between Sinners and Forest of the Greats due to him being set up while also attempting to disband the group for good, Carlos Hatchock then attempts to participate with Charles Whitman's idea to re-enact the Texas Tower shooting as they aim for a record breaking bloodbath as he is one of the Sinners that didn't wanted Kouu to disband the group which resulted in Kouu creating a battlefield just for them. His talent is White Feather which can terraform a dimension into a tropical jungle and was used to defeat Hayha.
- Albert Fish: A reincarnation of the serial liller also known by many nicknames such as the "Gray Man", "Werewolf of Wysteria", "Brooklyn Vampire", "Moon Maniac" and "The Boogeyman" who operated in New York around 1924-1932 and has racking a hundred bodycount to his name. In the manga, he is The Starter Villain that Touya and Haito faced as he was also seemingly semi-independent from The Sinners and Kouu himself after brutally murdering and cannibalizing innocent people. His talent is Muscle Projection in which he expands his muscle mass by eating several people.
- Albert DeSalvo: A reincarnation of the Serial killer and rapist that operates in Boston from 1962-1964, with his MO having his victims being strangled after he sexually assaults them as around thirteen people were murdered, mostly women. He first appears in the manga as the enemy that the members of the Forest of the Greats members, Touya and Funasaka, faced as he attacked them mercilessly by throwing several enormous objects at them before being defeated by Fabre with his stealth skills as he was poisoned by him. In the past, it was revealed that Kouu controls his impulses on attempting to kill someone by giving him several things to squeeze in order to make the Sinners coexistence easier with the Forest of the Greats. His talent is Strangler as he is able to lift several heavy objects to throw at his own enemies. He is also one of the original members of the Sinners alongside Kouu, Charlotte Corday, Gaius Julius Caesar, Adolf Hitler and Pol Pot.
- Andrei Chikatilo: A reincarnation of the notorious Russian Serial Killer operating in Rostov Oblast, Andrei Romanovich Chikatilo, who is notable on brutally murdering, raping and killing around fifty or more people during his lifetime as he uses the broken Soviet system as a loophole for his serial killings. Despite his reputation, he also experienced a rather traumatic experience during his lifetime such as having witnessing his brother cannibalized, his abusive mother who was raped by the Nazi soldiers and being a frequent target for the bullies due to his cowardice and his stature. In the manga, he still reincarnated as a monstrous creature who attempts to kill himself as a last attempt for atonement before Kouu adopted him and giving a place to belong in order to display his talent while sharing their views about being a Sinner equals unfair punishment due to them being denied a place to belong. As Kouu failed to create a coexistence between Sinners and Forest of the Greats due to him being set up as he also attempt to disband the group for good, Chikatilo had the idea to slaughter every innocent people in the city as he is one of the Sinners that didn't wanted Kouu to disband the group which resulted in Kouu creating a battlefield just for them. In the present day, he fought against Charles Darwin who then managed to overpower him with his talent of evolution before dying with a smile on his face. His talent is The Red Ripper which has the ability ripping apart on other objects around him with his own talons.
- Ed Gein: A reincarnation of the infamous American serial killer, Ed Gein, who is notorious of murdering several women or using several corpses as a furniture and decorations for his own home and has several mental disorder due to his delusions regarding his abusive mother. His story was influential to the films like Psycho or Texas Chainsaw Massacre. In the manga, he only appears as a one-shot villain killed by the members of the Forest of the Greats as he was lamenting about unable to make lampshades, belts and socks out of humans as he meet his impending doom. His talent is Bodily Dismemberment.
- John Wayne Gacy: A reincarnation of the infamous American serial killer, John Wayne Gacy, he is also known as Pogo the Clown who is notorious on raping and murdering thirty-three young men and his reveal as being a serial-killer was shocking to the world due to his status as a local celebrity who is involved in politics. It is stated that the villain of Stephen King's book It, Pennywise the Clown or better known as It was inspired by John Wayne Gacy himself. In the manga, he only appears as a one-shot villain murdered several children as he attempts to carry it again with his hideout being in a certain forest before meeting his demise thanks to Haito managed to murder him with ease after she activate her transformation sequence. His talent is Fling Killing/Murderous Act that has the ability to use his acrobatic skills in order to kill innocent people.
- Vlad III Dracula: A reincarnation of Vlad the Impaler, a Romanian and Wallachia tyrant notorious for impaling his dissidents, the Transylvanian Saxons, who supported his opponents. His existence becomes the inspiration of Bram Stoker's iconic villain from the book of the same name, Dracula. In the manga, he made his appearance in Chapter 8 as he was hunted by the Forest of the Great members as he uses his impaling talent to defeat the clones of Hans Dreisch. After he was seemingly defeated by Touya as the latter stole his heart, it was then revealed that Touya stole Vlad's talent as he begs him to give it back before meeting his end by being mercilessly impaled by Touya with the talent that he stole from him. His talent is Lord Impaler, a talent to summon several stake or pole to impale his opponents.
- Okada Izo: A reincarnation of one of the most notable samurai during the Edo Period and the member of Tosa Imperialism Party and was also revealed to be one of the most feared figure during the Bakumatsu Period due to him being one of the four notable assassins during that time. In the manga, he and his little army fought against Haito, Jubei Yagyuu and Gaius Julius Caesar during his time as a mole for the Sinners. However, he was killed by Haito, Jubei and Julius in the end. His talent is Slayer.
- Jahangir: A reincarnation of the fourth Mughal Emperor, Nur-ud-din Muhammad Salim who is rather famous with his relationship of his courtesan, Anarkali, and is also an observer of plants and animals such as Elephants during his lifetime. Reincarnating as a female sinner in the manga, she is depicted as an enemy of one of the members of Forest of the Greats, Bobby Fischer, before being defeated by him easily with his chess pieces. Her talent is Elephant Foot which has the ability of creating an aura that looks like Elephant Foot in order to create several craters.
- James Hickok: A reincarnation of the American folk legend and outlaw, James "The Wild Bill" Hickok who is famous for his gunfights and also a gambler and an actor before being shot dead in 1876 when he plays his card. In the manga, he acts as an enemy that one of the Forest of the Great Members, Schrodinger, must face, before being defeated for good by Schrodinger with the latter using his ability of probability to defeat Hickok. His talent is The Cards of the Dead.
- Charles Whitman: A reincarnation of the notorious mass shooter of the same name, he was notorious for killing sixteen people and wounded thirty-three people after he shoot them from the University of Texas Tower before committing suicide. In the manga, he is one of Kouu's subordinates tasked to weaken the Forest of the Greats by attempting to shoot the Wright Sisters who carried a satellite with them in order to watch The Sinners movement but was failed to do so due to being stopped by Simo Hayha. In the end, he was defeated by Hayha, as he lured him into his own territory before being shot by Hayha. As he lays dying, Whitman tells his boss that Hayha is too powerful and feels rather sad that he failed to avenge his comrades in which Kouu tries to cheer him up by saying that the most important thing is enjoying the battle for himself as he dies gracefully. As Kouu failed to create a coexistence between Sinners and Forest of the Greats due to him being set up while also attempting to disband the group for good, Whitman had the idea to re-enact the Texas Tower shooting alongside Carlos Hathcock as they aim for a record breaking bloodbath as he is one of the Sinners that didn't wanted Kouu to disband the group which resulted in Kouu creating a battlefield just for them. His talent is A Shooting as Precise as Clockwork in which he created a clock-like dimension and has his shooting skill accuracy rises up to 100% if the second hand of the clock reaches at 12.
- Kouu's Disciples: Appears in Chapter 41. They are the former members of The Sinners who ended up joining the Self-Defense Force Black Edge Unit members after being captured by them alongside Nostradamus in order to defeat the true enemy, Forest of the Greats who will exterminate humanity. They consisted of: Gotz von Berlichingen, Henry Dunant, Joshua Norton, Carl von Linne, August Mobius, Franz Anton Mesmer, Leo Lionni, Honda Kotaro and Wallace Carothers
