The Auteur, better known by her alias Siobhan Corbyn is the main antagonist of American Horror Story: Delicate, the twelfth season in the horror anthology series American Horror Story. She is the immortal leader of a satanic coven of witches that she calls her "delicates." She and her followers seek to create a breed of super-humans to subjugate men and install a matriarchal system with Siobhan at the top.
She is portrayed by Kim Kardashian who also portrays Debbie Fallon in CSI: NY.
Delicate[]
Siobhan is shown to be thousands of years old, having made an unspecified deal with her deity for supernatural powers. She was shown to have been active since at least 42 AD, making her by far the oldest known witch, surpassing even Marie Laveau and Scathach in longevity. Siobhan corrupts many women over the centuries into her cult giving them longevity as well in exchange for their servitude.
At some point, Siobhan began using her followers as surrogate mothers hoping to breed a "genetically superior" breed of demonic men to serve her in her war on men, but none of the fetuses were viable. One of her followers, Adeline, leaves her cult and marries Dex Harding Jr., the son of one of Siobhan's sex slaves who miraculously survived infancy. Adeline is eventually killed by her abusive mother Ivy who is Siobhan's most loyal follower.
When Dex Harding Jr. remarries actress Anna Alcott, Siobhan integrates her way into Anna's life posing as her publicist and best friend, while having her minions stalk Anna. Siobhan manipulates Anna into conceiving a child via IVF at Dr. Andrew Hill's clinic. Unbeknownst to Anna, Dr. Hill has been extorted into impregnating women with Siobhan's eggs to continue her eugenics scheme, believing herself to have the most superior genes of all, and that her eggs combined with her son's sperm will be the master race.
When Anna does get pregnant, Siobhan's delicates harass and gaslight her while Siobhan pretends to be a supportive friend. In an attempt to induct Anna into her cult, Siobhan enchants Anna's film The Auteur to ensure its success and murders anyone who could expose or challenge her scheme, including The Auteur's director who threatens to go to the media about Siobhan's involvement in the film-making process and Babette who was the current leading nominee.
At the Oscars, Siobhan drops her pretenses of being a publicist and makes a supernatural deal with Anna to give her baby to Siobhan in exchange for the Oscar, which Anna accepts, causing her water to break. An ambulance takes Anna and Dex out of the ceremony, but the driver of the ambulance is revealed to be Ivy, who kills Dex Jr. and kidnaps Anna, taking her to the delicates' lair. Siobhan kills Ivy for killing her son (despite having ordered her to), who she reveals is Dex Jr., meaning Siobhan is much older than she appears; Siobhan reveals her true nature as "the Auteur" of the delicates and the mastermind behind Anna's psychological abuse, which was to condition Anna to become a delicate herself. Siobhan then shrugs off Dex's death, saying she harvested his testicles so that she can fertilize her eggs without him and continue using Anna as a surrogate mother to birth her race of super-humans and subjugate men.
Anna however reneges on her deal, deciding her child is worth more than the Oscar and the fame that Siobhan promised her, and, alongside the ghost of Adeline, uses a chant to invoke Hestia which kills Siobhan by revoking her immortality and aging her to death.
