| ~ Sir Arthur cornering Andi and Frankie in the lower labs |
Sir Arthur is a supporting antagonist of Glitch Productions' indie animated sci-fi psychological thriller series, Knights of Guinevere, serving as the secondary antagonist of the pilot episode.
He was sent to capture the Guinevere android discovered by Frankie and Andi in order to return her to Olivia Park, only to get destroyed by the Guinevere android in the process.
He is voiced by SungWon Cho, who also voices Orville Park in the same series, Mordecai Heller, in Lackadaisy, Abby Saja in KPop Demon Hunters, The Badcomputer in Batwheels.
Appearance[]
Sir Arthur is a colossal mechanical knight. He has a grinning golden mask-like face resembling a human's in the center of his chest, with a sun-like corona surrounding it. There is a crack down its left side, passing over Sir Arthur's left eye. Upon activation, this face lights up bright yellow.
Much of his body is covered in plate armor, with some exposed joints and wiring (especially at his waist). Pipe-like spikes extend from his pauldrons. He also wears a long, flowing cape.
He carries an oversized sword with star-like patterns in his left hand, while his right arm is larger, clawed, and seemingly entirely made up of long, thick thorned vines that descend to the ground.
It is also presumed that he contains organic parts or some sort of internal liquid similar to blood, since he bleeds when Guinevere destroys him.
Personality[]
Sir Arthur is a loyal soldier of Park Planet and Olivia. When given the task of retrieving the Guinevere android, he did so with brutal determination, relentlessly pursuing the Andi and Frankie, and leaving a path of flaming destruction in his wake.
True to his knight-like appearance, he speaks in a regal language and has twisted form of their mannerisms, though still has a single-minded focus to complete his mission. Although Sir Arthur is an obedient machine, it appears that he is capable of feeling emotions such as anger since he became enraged when the pair froze his arm with coolant, which led him to throw them across the ruins.
Biography[]
Sir Arthur was one of two titanic sized machines created by Olivia Park in her old age.
When traces of a Guinevere android resurfaced after years of absence, Olivia dispatched Sir Arthur to recover her. Sir Arthur tracked both Andi and Frankie who were in possession of the android down to the lower labs of Park Planet.
His presence was heard by them whilst they were transported Gwen before the android herself screamed, supposedly to warn them of him. Sir Arthur soon emerged from the ruins and pursued the two. He tore through obstacles with his sword and left devastation in his path as he attempted to reclaim the android. Speaking in a regal language, he cornered Andi and Frankie within a structure in the lower labs and said "Goodly ladies. Arrest thy steps. Thine hearts I wouldst make mine.". The pair attempted to slow him down by freezing his arm with liquid nitrogen, but this only enraged him. Sir Arthur proceeded to lift up the structure they were in and hurled it across the ruins.
Sir Arthur resumed his pursuit of them, but was soon defeated by the very android he was sent to recover. Though he seemed to be unstoppable, Gwen herself rose to confront him after saving Andi and Frankie. When the pair fled into an elevator, the android turned to face off with the giant robot and destroyed him before returning to Andi and Frankie. The corpse of Sir Arthur was seen in the flaming wreckage of the lower labs, having been brutally torn apart and impaled with his own sword.
Powers & Abilities[]
- Light Projection: Sir Arthur's sun-themed face is capable of casting a blindingly bright beam of light in a focused area, similar to a searchlight.
- High Strength: Sir Arthur is shown to be incredibly physically strong, able to lift an entire building in the lower labs and throw it with relative ease.
- Limb Extension: Sir Arthur's vine arm can extend to several times its typical length.

Trivia[]
- Sir Arthur speaks in an old Shakespearean dialect.
- Sir Arthur's name is likely a reference to King Arthur, the legendary British monarch who, with his knights, formed the Knights of the Round Table in the kingdom of Camelot (and was also the husband of Queen Guinevere) in Arthurian legend. The stories of King Arthur serve as major inspiration for the Knights of Guinevere series as a whole, hence Sir Arthur's namesake and dialect.
- It is currently unknown whether Sir Arthur and Guinevere are connected in a deeper way, despite their corresponding characters' relationship in the original Round Table stories.
- Sir Arthur has a counterpart; another robotic knight of similar appearance, but with a crescent moon shape set behind its head rather than a sun-themed corona. This counterpart's name is currently unknown.
- Sir Arthur's counterpart seems to hold less importance to Olivia, as she calls on specifically Sir Arthur to track down Guinevere and leaves his counterpart inactive.
- Sir Arthur is voiced by SungWon Cho who, besides other characters, voiced Orville Park. The two characters share one voice actor in multiple dubs, for example German, Dutch, Indonesian, Russian, Ukrainian and French.
