Baby. I love you so much. The way you take care of me and your mom. You're so sweet. And strong. I just wish you didn't have to carry it all. I mean, your mom takes up all your time. As long as she's around we can't really be happy. I could be with you, forever. If only your mom wasn't here. Don't you wanna be with me forever? Then bash your mother's brains in. Baby, do it for me. Do it, baby.
~ Siren as "Belle" to Lenny Bristol
Siren: Dean's all mine.
Sam: You poisoned him.
Siren: No. I gave him what he needed. And it wasn't some bitch in a G-string. It was you. A little brother that looked up to him, that he could trust. And now he loves me. He'd do anything for me. And I gotta tell you, Sam, that kind of devotion? I mean, watching someone kill for you? It's the best feeling in the world.
~ Siren as "Nick Munroe" to Sam Winchester

The Siren, also known as "Nick Munroe", "Belle" and many other names, is the main antagonist of the Supernatural season 4 episode "Sex and Violence".

She is a creature originating from Greek mythology, which can read minds and see what her victim want most, so she can cloak herself in an illusion of the perfect mate to lure the victim.

Siren was portrayed by Chris Baker in its true form. As Belle, it was portrayed by Moneca Delain. As Nick Munroe, it was portrayed by Jim Parrack, who also portrayed Hoyt Fortenberry in True Blood, Kenny Linder in F9, Paul Mulford in Criminal Minds, and Jonny Frost in Suicide Squad.

Overview[]

Sirenbook

The Fisherman and the Syren, by Frederic Leighton, c. 1856–1858

Sirens are shapeshifting creatures who uses a beautiful form to prey on men, enticing them with their "siren song". However, the siren's spell ain't got nothing to do with any song, it is in reality a hormone called oxytocin, that's produced during childbirth, lactation and sex. She gets in the vic's blood and manages to control them.

However, once it's done the siren gets a dose of her own medicine. It kills her like a snake getting iced by its own venom. So the only way to kill a Siren is with a bronze dagger dipped in blood from one of its victims when he is being controlled. According to Sam, Sirens are also usually pretty solitary.

In ancient times, Sirens lived on islands on Greece. Sailors would chase 'em, completely ignoring the rocky shores, and dash themselves to pieces. In modern times, Sirens were considered a myth, appearing in many fictional stories such as The Odyssey.

History[]

Or it could be her saliva...You really should have wiped the lip of that thing before you drank from it, Dean. I should be your little brother. Sam. You can't trust him. Not like you can trust me. In fact, I really feel like you should get him outtta the way, so we can be brothers. Forever.
~ Siren as "Nick Munroe" to Dean

An unnamed Siren began preying a small town in Iowa, seducing husbands and controling them to beat their wives to death. At the Honey Wagon club, the Siren (disguised as a stripper called Belle) seduces a man named Lenny Bristol. They went to his home, and after making love, Belle tells Lenny they can be together forever if he kills his ill mother, which he does, and Belle leaves after that.

The Siren later takes the form of an FBI Agent named Nick Munroe and went to the city's hospital, where the hunters Sam and Dean Winchester visit Dr. Cara Roberts with the intention of obtaining a blood sample taken from one of victims of the Siren.

Nick says he has found a link between the victms and the strippers, so Dean go with him to the club to keep him busy while Sam gets the blood sample. Nick and Dean eventually bond over drinks and classic rock, and Nick reveals that he has found a flower, a hyacinth, at the scene of each crime, which was also seem in Dr Robert's office.

Nick then tries to blame Dr. Roberts for being the siren, and lies in wait with Dean when she arrive at a club. Nick then share a hip flask with Dean, revealing he just poisoned Dean as they shared a drink. Nick tells Dean that he can't trust Sam and needs to get him out of the way, so he can be the "perfect brother" that Dean wants.

In the hotel, Nick controls Dean to kill Sam, and describes what a high he gets from having people fall in love and kill for him, and then spits venom at Sam, also infecting him. He tells the brothers that he knows they have issues with each other and that they should fight it out, and survivor will be with him forever. However, Bobby Singer appears and uses a dagger with Dean's infected blood to stab Nick, killing him and breaking his spell.
