Holy s***... What the F**K is that?!
~ Freddy Anderson becomes shocked upon first spotting the creature.
Freddy doesn't know when to give up. He thinks he can save his friends. Get a load of this guy! If I were him, I would just lay down on my back and wait. Wait for what, you say? Do it and you'll find out...
~ Siren Head taunts Freddy before the latter tries to go to the bridge.

Siren Head, sometimes called Lamp Head (written in-game as Sirenhead and Lamphead), is the main antagonist of the 2020 game of the same name by Isolation Interactive based on the creature from the Trevor Henderson Mythos.

It is a massive creature that continually stalks the main character Freddy Anderson as he traverses South Point Meadows looking for his friends, who are implied to have been victims of the creature.

Siren Head is far more morally aware here than in the mythos, as he continually taunts and mocks Freddy, trying to get him to quit in his journey.

The Siren Head retains his appearance from the mythos.

Biography

Throughout his trip through the woods, Freddy will begin to hear varying noises throughout the woods, ranging from sirens, automated voices and screams to animal roars and growls. Due to the fact that there are no animals found anywhere in South Point Meadows in-game, it is very likely that all of the sounds he hears are played by Siren Head. Eventually, Freddy will see the creature and become horrified of him -- this is his first attempt to fight off the Siren Head.

Every so often, Siren Head will jump from the shadows and chase Freddy Anderson. It is so fast that escape is nearly impossible, and being caught without a gun will mean certain death for Freddy. If Siren Head is shot by Freddy, it will let out a bellow and retreat momentarily, giving Freddy time to complete his objectives. In-game, it can crawl to reach for Freddy also, meaning that shooting it is his only chance of escaping him.

At the end, after Freddy Anderson reaches the factory, he goes over to an alternate route. Freddy sees police car lights and believes his chances of rescue are certain, but Siren Head will charge at him one more time in a surprise attack, ending the game.

Trivia

  • Siren Head is far more morally aware here than in the mythos, as he continually taunts Freddy with an automated voice that speaks about him and his friends; at one point, he even tries to tell Freddy to give up entirely and just lay down (which, if the player makes Freddy give up, Siren Head will outright kill him, resulting in a Game Over).
  • Siren Head can talk here with an automated voice from his sirens.
  • It is not known how Siren Head was able to mimic the cops who told Freddy to escape him.
