The Sirens are minor antagonists in the Nickelodeon cartoon, The Loud House, appearing only briefly in the episode, Europe Road Trip: Greece Is the Word. They are a trio of mermaids who spend their time luring unfortunate sailors to their territory with their singing before killing them, even if it means children.
They are all voiced by singers Ashley Yoon, Kiki Halliday, and Tarra Layne, all of whom ended up uncredited for the episode.
Appearances[]
The sirens are mermaids with different colored tails, matching fins on their arms, and matching eyeshadow. Their tail colors are red, green, and blue.
The red-tailed siren has black hair with a golden headband, with a long braid. She is the only one of the trio with two eyelashes. For attire, she wears golden bands on her forearms, pink earrings, and two white straps crossing over her chest.
The green-tailed siren has red hair with a ponytail tied up with a green hairband and four eyelashes. For attire, she wears a white tube top with a golden collar, round golden earrings, and two smaller bands on her forearms.
The blue-tailed siren has blonde hair with three swirls on her head and down the back, held by a blue headband, and she has four eyelashes. For attire, she wears white straps on her chest held by golden clamps and thin blue wristbands on her forearms.
When attacking sailors too close, their eyes become dark green with light green irises, slitted pupils, and thick, dark outlines. Their teeth and ears become razor sharp and their fingers become thinner with long, claw-like fingernails. The fins on their arms become serrated, and they gain similar webbing between their fingers.
Personality[]
Although it isn't much of their personalities, the Sirens are manipulative, seductive, and sadistic predators in the seas of the Greece dimension as they lure and devour defenseless sailors to their islands with their beautiful singing voices, and also have no concerns to kill children as well.
Biography[]
The Sirens first appear when a boy from modern times who was sent back in time to Ancient Greece, Lincoln Loud and his new friend Clydius, the ancient Greek counterpart to Lincoln's friend Clyde McBride, are trying to sail to the Parthenon and they sing in order to hypnotically charm the boys to come to them. Clydius is smart enough to avoid listening to their singing, fully aware of how dangerous the creatures are, but an inexperienced Lincoln is able to fall under their control with ease.
After singing about how they just want to meet Lincoln, they end up showing their true colors once the hypnotized boy is near their grasp and try to eat him, only for Clydius to tackle Lincoln into the water and they end up on a nearby island where Lincoln gets released from the trance. Defeated, the Sirens hiss at them menacingly before taking their leave to search for their next prey, not appearing again throughout the rest of the episode.
