The Six Sealed Eyes are one of the two overarching antagonists (alongside the Dreadnought) of the 2020 video game, Doom: Eternal.

They are an organization of rogue demons who intended to overthrow the Archdemons from their rule of Hell. They are responsible for the creations of the Spectres as they were originally intended to serve the Six Sealed Eyes to defeat the Archdemons.

Biography[]

Past[]

The Six Sealed Eyes were one of the many demons who had served their ruler, Davoth, who seek vengeance against the Maykrs for betraying him and thus participated in their war against them. By the time Davoth was imprisoned in a Life Sphere, a monarchy of Dark Lords, the Archdemons, have emerge to assume rule of Hell as its rulers and became leaders of the demons. Not all demons have agreed to this as a group of rogue demons formed into the Six Sealed Eyes with an intent to overthrow the Archdemons. To accomplish their work, the Six Sealed Eyes performed their sorcery to create a noncorporal race of Pinkies known as the Spectres, sworing their allegiance to them.

With the Spectres under their command, the Six Sealed Eyes made plans to lead the Spectres against the Archdemons to put an end to their rule and become leaders of Hell themselves. Their plan to takeover was intervened as the Archdemons seek revenge and strike back at the Six Sealed Eyes for their betrayal and were sentenced to be tortured for all eternity. As for their creations, the Spectres would be recruited into the demonic ranks, switching sides to Hell and now serving Davoth and the Archdemons instead of continuing their service to the Six Sealed Eyes.

Doom: Eternal[]

While the Six Sealed Eyes did not make a psychical appearance in the campaign, they are mentioned in the Codex as it mentions their plans of overthrowing the Archdemons. Even to this day, the Six Sealed Eyes are partially responsible for creating the Spectres with these spectral forms continuing their service to Davoth.

Doom Eternal: The Ancient Gods[]

Following Davoth's defeat, the demons outside of Hell disintergrate due to his demise by the hands of the Doom Slayer after having succeeded in taking him out to end the threat the demons have posed for so long. While Davoth's rule is no more, it remains unknown what happened to the Six Sealed Eyes afterwards.
