Skeletons, are recurring antagonists in Team Fortress 2. They appear as enemies on several different Halloween maps. They first appeared on the Payload Race map Helltower for the 2013 Scream Fortress event and later went on to show up in many different Halloween maps.

While Green Skeletons attack both RED and BLU teams, Rare Spellbooks can have a chance of summoning team-colored skeletons that attack the opposite team and Green Skeletons.

Appearance

Skeletons take the appearance of a regular skeleton, but they are seen glowing a specific-color that corelates to what team they are on. If a skeleton is green, it attacks both RED and BLU. Skeleton Kings are larger, but wear a crown. Small Skeletons are much smaller, but have a larger-head.

Trivia

• They mostly use The Sniper's animations especially with how they will do his version of the Kazotsky Kick when coded to do so.
• In the game files, there are 3 unused skeleton colors, orange, purple and a plain-colored skeleton.
• The Skeleton King wears a RED Prince Tavish's Crown.
• The 2021 Scream Fortress event introduced 2 reskins of the skeletons, the Scarecrows, which are reskins of normal skeletons and the Toastmaster, who is a reskinned Skeleton King.
