Skeletor is the secondary antagonist of the Injustice Comic book series, between Masters of the universe and DC's Injustice series. He's indirectly responsible for Darkside discovering about earth and the Justice League.

Background

Early life

Skeletor wanted to claim the castle of Grayskull secret but was defeated by He-Man and mysteriously disappear. In reality, he was send to Apokolips where he was dying until Darkseid save him because he feels that he may be useful. Skeletor sends Darkside on his home universe while he tries to befriend Superman on earth.

Injustice vs. Masters of the Universe

After Skeletor tricks Superman into becoming his friend and befriends Darkside, Skeletor used his new status in order to get Superman to help him destroy He man. Skeletor is later seen talking to Wonder Woman and Superman telling the duo that he knows about an entire multiverse they could conquer. Skeletor tells Superman that he believes that if the two of them work together they can take all of it, Superman ignores him and tells Skeletor that he's not important and the only reason why he keeps Skeletor around is because he's useful, Skeletor obviously upset by this starts conspiring with Darkside again.

After Superman defeated Batman and imprisoned him He-man goes to Batman's rescue. Skeletor reveals that he was using Darkside all along along with Superman and takes the magic sword which he harvested from the powers of Shazam. Skeletor then fights Darkside in a duel. Darkside would end up vctorious and after this Skeletors magic sword was destroyed, Darkside was quickly killed by Superman after this. Superman then faces Skeletor and prepares to kill him. Skeletor tells Superman that he was being brainwashed by He-man. Superman obviously didn't believe this lie of Skeletors and murdered him almost instantly.

While Skeletor is presumed to be dead it's implied that he was resurrected, although he never shows up after being murdered by Superman.
