Biography[]
Background[]
Before the Freaker apocalypse, Skizzo used to live in Sacramento or Fresno in California, where he once graduated from a college with honors, according to a postcard Deacon St. John found in Skizzo's cabin in Lost Lake Camp. Deacon St. John initially assumed that Skizzo was a "frat boy" and a criminal prior to the start of the apocalypse, but it is later revealed that those claims were all false.
“ | Raymond, your grandfather and I couldn't be more proud of you for graduating with honors. Good luck at the new firm. We know you're going to succeed beyond our wildest dreams. Spend the enclosed check on a new suit. Love, Grandma & Grandpa | „ |

After the Freaker apocalypse ravaged Earth, Skizzo later moves to Farewell, Oregon and settles in on Lost Lake Camp, which is then headed by former park ranger turned camp leader Iron Mike, where Skizzo becomes the head of security and Iron Mike's second-in-command. Despite his position, he is often known to be at odds with the camp members, where he has a tendency to flaunt his position. More so than that, there are instances where he often abuses his authority.
He is also objective of Iron Mike's treaty with the Rest In Peace/Rippers cult and his attempted parley with the cult's leader Carlos, knowing that the Rippers have completely lost what remained of their humanity, and he considers them no longer human, thinking that Carlos or the rest of the Rippers would simply betray the peace treaty in an instant.
In one instance, he is also known to be a peeping tom, when he was caught spying by Rikki Patil and Addison "Addy" Walker as the two bathed, with the former threatening him to shoot his cock if he does it again.

Lost Lake Camp[]
When Deacon St. John returns back to Lost Lake Camp to help out Boozer for his arm, Skizzo immediately shows disdain and dismay to Iron Mike's decision about the return of both Deacon and Boozer, thinking that this will symbolize as a weakness in the camp. During Deacon and Boozer's term in Lost Lake Camp, Skizzo begins plotting many plans to get rid of both of them. It starts off with Skizzo ordering Deacon to visit Iron Butte, a Ripper territory, to visit a plane crash site for the medicine.
After Deacon knows about the plan to seal a cave containing Freaker hordes near Lost Lake Camp, Skizzo later accompanies Deacon to retrieve some explosives. However, Skizzo attempts to reason with Deacon, telling him that Iron Mike is incapable of leading Lost Lake Camp, where he slowly shows his true colors, and plans to depose Iron Mike to become the camp's leader by usurpation. However, Deacon refuses to backstab Iron Mike.
When both Rikki and Deacon came back to the Lost Lake camp, Skizzo later notices Deacon's Mongrel tattoo on his back, while Deacon was being treated for his wound that he sustained. Skizzo is later sent by Iron Mike to parley on Carlos, because of Deacon's actions that have caused much antagonism towards the Rippers. Using this meeting to his advantage, Skizzo later notices that Carlos wanted Deacon and Boozer, and so he decides to strike a deal with the Ripper cult leader. Skizzo later offers Carlos a deal, in order for Lost Lake to be left alone by the Rippers, which is by handing both Deacon and Boozer to them. He later plans to set Deacon up into a trap by visiting Iron Butte again, but this time to retrieve the detonation cable.
Skizzo and Deacon later visit Iron Butte to retrieve the detonation cable. As soon as that happens, Skizzo knocks Deacon out, where he later hands Deacon to Carlos and the Rippers. Skizzo's plan, however, had an unintended result, when the Rippers began attacking Lost Lake Camp, which is something he did not expect. Skizzo and Carlos later visited Iron Mike in a failed attempt to negotiate the Rippers' retreat, with Boozer in exchange. Deacon later exposes Skizzo's betrayal to Iron Mike, prompting him to knock him out cold and to be imprisoned to await for a fair trial.
Deschutes County Militia[]
After being exiled from Lost Lake Camp by Iron Mike for his traitorous actions, much to Deacon's extreme annoyance, Skizzo is not heard again until he later drifts south and spots the Wizard Island militia camp, which is the main stronghold of the Deschutes County Militia. Finding Colonel Garret in there, Skizzo later enlists in the militia, in hopes of finding safety and purpose after his exile. Garret later decides to take Skizzo on a tour of the militia settlement, in the midst of his initiation.
However, Skizzo later has a fateful encounter with Deacon St. John and Sarah Whitaker, who are attempting to escape Wizard Island, prompting Skizzo and Deacon to brawl until Garret puts both of them into a trial, where Skizzo accuses Deacon of being a traitor.
During the trial, Skizzo later fabricates lies about Deacon breaking his policy of not harming unarmed women, with him telling Garret that he previously attacked a woman while drunk in Lost Lake, and claims he has seen Deacon's Mongrel tattoo from the back, forcing Deacon to reveal it in front of Garret. After much manipulation, the militia leader later sides with Skizzo, causing Garret to order his militia to take away Deacon and hang him for his treachery. Skizzo later becomes the second-in-command of Garret, who gives him the exact location of Lost Lake Camp.
Skizzo later spearheads an attack to Lost Lake Camp, under the guise of making amends, with him leading the Deschutes County Militia soldiers, which starts off by clearing Santiam Pass, allowing them to visit Lost Lake quickly. Skizzo claims he wants to see Iron Mike again, make amends, and offer survivors food. However, the militia opened fire to the survivors instead, and with Skizzo killing Iron Mike inside the camp. Skizzo later retreats after the Lost Lake survivors halted the militia invasion.
After Skizzo notices that Derrick Kouri and his soldiers have gone AWOL, who are responsible in freeing Deacon, Garret attempts to take out his anger on Sarah, who blames her for causing it. However, Skizzo later reasons with Garret, citing that Sarah's skills is invaluable to use a water full of poison hemlock to exterminate survivors up north. With Garret being pleased by Skizzo's idea, he is promoted as the new Captain of Deschutes County Militia, taking Derrick Kouri's spot, where he later provokes Deacon about it.
With the preemptive attack on Wizard Island, led by Deacon St. John and other survivors from the north, Skizzo's plans to seal The Ark's entrance fails, when Deacon defuses all the three bombs and James Weaver refuses to hand in the detonator, prompting Skizzo to threaten Weaver at knife point. After getting shot by Deacon, Skizzo later flees into the entrance of Garret's personal chamber. He later ambushes Deacon by shooting a barrel full of explosives. Despite Skizzo's efforts into killing Deacon via the explosive barrels, Deacon later gains the upper hand, forcing Skizzo to be stabbed by his own knife. As Skizzo lays bleeding, he was told by Deacon there was a time that he would be killed by the Freakers but couldn't, because they'd tear him apart, but they wouldn't enjoy it, before Deacon cuts his throat, killing him completely.
Personality[]
Skizzo is shown to be rude, antagonistic, and often bitter towards anyone, including Deacon and Boozer, even going so far in plotting many plans to get rid of both of them. He is shown to be arrogant, often flaunting his title as Iron Mike's second-in-command. In some instances, he is sometimes power-hungry, who often plotted many attempts to depose Iron Mike as the camp's leader and later takes the position for himself through usurpation, with his true goal being self-preservation, a fact that Iron Mike knew a lot. He is perverted, who once peeped when Rikki and Addy were taking a bath, with the former warning him that she will shoot his cock off if she catches him peeping again.
He is also manipulative and scheming, who is able to fabricate a convincing lie, which is demonstrated during the trial with him and Deacon in Garret's chamber in Wizard Island camp, causing Garret to side with him, and with Deacon later getting betrayed.
