Skulker is the secondary antagonist of the Nickelodeon TV show Danny Phantom.
He is a ghost hunter who hunts down ghosts and unique items, setting his sights eventually on Danny, acting as one of his archenemies. Skulker is actually a small ghostly blob wearing a large, high-tech battle suit.

Biography[]
Skulker first appeared in "One of a Kind", where he planned to put Danny in a cage, seeing him as a rare exhibit to behold. Many daring chases for the ghost boy results in Skulker taking Tucker's PDA to power up his suit only for him to stick with Tucker's schedule ("...Which I CANNOT reprogram!...") which takes over his armor. However, he still pursued Danny to the Amity Park zoo where he nearly kills Danny (now wanting him dead and hung up his wall) until Danny summons the purple-back gorilla to attack Skulker, in which his battle suit is damaged to reveal it's pilot: a tiny little green blob controlling the suit from its head. In the end, Danny captured him with the Fenton Thermos.
He briefly makes his second appearance in "Bitter Reunions" in which he was hired by Vlad Masters to disable Danny's powers with the power cube, leaving on Vlad's behalf when he angrily dismisses him telling him he didn't free him to kill Danny. (as well as the PDA from the previous episode still stuck to him and still unprogrammable).
Later in "Prisoners of Love", Skulker worked alongside Danny Phantom, Nicolai Technus, the Box Ghost, The Lunch Lady Ghost and Desiree to escape from Walker's ghost jail.
In "The Fright Before Christmas", Skulker is among Danny's ghost enemies who observe the Ghost Zone's annual Christmas Truce, where they get together to chat, befriend each other, and enjoy the holiday before going back to their normal behavior once it is over. When Danny reveals that the Ghost Writer has violated the truce out of personal revenge against Danny for destroying his Christmas poem and punishing Danny for his Scrooge-like miserly hatred of the holiday, which made Danny hated in Amity Park by his family, friends, and the town after he destroyed much of their Christmas presents and decorations due to the Ghost Writer's machinations, angered by the Ghost Writer violating one of the Ghost Zone's sacred holiday cardinal rules, Skulker and the others go with Danny to punish him. However, thanks to his keyboard, Ghost Writer forces Skulker and the others to fight each other by overruling the truce, but when Danny hits Walker in the face with an orange, the Ghost Writer realizes too late that "orange" doesn't rhyme with anything, breaking his rhythm, and his spell on everyone. Skulker and Walker arrest Ghost Writer, but Danny destroying Ghost Writer's keyboard traps him in Ghost Writer's story until "the lesson is learned". As Danny realizes it is all his fault Christmas is ruined because of his attitude over it due to past trauma, he returns to Earth guilt-ridden and ashamed of himself, much to the concern of Skulker and the other ghosts.
Taking pity on Danny, and how the Ghost Zone Christmas Truce extends to even half-ghosts like Danny, Skulker and Danny's other ghost enemies arrive to help Danny repair Christmas in Amity Park and mend his relationships with his family, friends, and the town. Once complete, they take their leave a la Santa Claus, even as they are fired on by Jack and Maddie.
Skulker's appearance in the series finale, "Phantom Planet", sees him confront Danny when he enters the Ghost Zone to ask the ghosts for help against the Disasteroid, warning them that if the Earth is destroyed, so will be the Ghost Zone. Not believing him, Skulker and the other ghosts blast Danny, but their attacks awaken what little ectoplasmic DNA he still carried in him, restoring his powers as Danny Phantom. After blasting them with his Ghostly Wail, he escapes. He later returns to broker with them again after trying to capture many ghosts for his plan to turn the Earth intangible to save it from the Disasteroid, but Skulker freed them. However, Danny's pleas regarding how if the Earth and Ghost Zone are destroyed, the ghosts will all be homeless, if not forced to ascend to the afterlife, convince them to temporarily ally with Danny, with Skulker as their leader, and they return to Earth from the Ghost Zone to help Danny empower the device to turn the Earth intangible. Thanks to the support of Skulker, Walker, Desiree, Ember, Undergrowth, Youngblood, Johnny 13, Shadow, Kitty, Clockwork, Wulf, Lunch Lady, Box Ghost, Prince Aragon and Princess Dorathea, Spectra and Bertrand, the Fright Knight, and many more ghosts, they are able to power up the device to turn the Earth intangible and save it from the Disasteroid, saving the Ghost Zone as well.
Afterwards, Danny thanks Skulker and the other ghosts for their help, but Skulker reassures him that this does not mean he won't give up hunting Danny down, but will do so under more friendlier terms, as Danny saving Earth and the Ghost Zone makes him all the more valuable as a prize for Skulker's hunt, now deeming Danny a worthy opponent.
“ | Danny Phantom: I don't know what to say, other than "thanks", Skulker. To all of you. Skulker: Don't get too mushy on us, ghost child. Remember: I'll never stop hunting you. (Smiling with respect) And now that you've saved your world, you're a much more valuable prize. |

~ Skulker reassures Danny he's proven himself a worthy opponent to the ghost hunter |
Parting on good, if not amicable terms with Danny, Skulker, along with Walker, Ember, Desiree, Johnny 13, Kitty, Clockwork, Wulf, Youngblood, Lunch Lady, Box Ghost, Undergrowth, Spectra, Bertrand, Fright Knight, and the rest of the ghosts, returns to the Ghost Zone, now with newfound respect and admiration for Danny Phantom as their worthy opponent instead of their arch-enemy.
Personality[]
A rather confident but ruthless ghost, Skulker is persistent and determined in his quest to hunt down rare ghosts for his growing collection, including Danny.
Because of this, Skulker became one of Danny's frequent enemies, a murderous, brutal, greedy and ruthless hunter, Skulker appreciated a good hunt with delicious prey, to the point that he often offers his target a head start on their run, just so he can enjoy the hunt even longer.
Knowing the ways of hunting and often outspoken and arrogant (he has a habit of calling Danny "Whelp" or "Ghost Child"), Skulker is, at times, a little light-hearted, appreciating his praises Danny about his new weapon in "Bitter Reunions" for example. If any major problems arise, we can expect Skulker to team up with Danny to fight the big threat.
He also seems to have good leadership qualities, having repeatedly rounded up many ghosts throughout the series and commanded them to attack when given the opportunity.
Powers and Weakness[]
Skulker has ghost powers (invisibility, flight, intangibility, and overshadowing). As evidenced in "Micro-Management", however, he doesn't really rely on them, preferring instead to use the various weaponry embedded in his suit, however he is shown to go invisible and intangible a lot, and even though he can fly he uses a jetpack on his suit.
- Hacking: His one weakness is that he is just a tiny ghost with a squeaky voice in a robotic suit. The suit itself is also easy to hack into by means of devices like PDAs, and when the suit is compromised, like in "One of a Kind" or "Micro Management", Skulker is left helpless.
