Skywarp is a supporting antagonist of the tie-in media of the original Transformers film series. He is a Decepticon scientist, being far more interested in knowledge over power, conquest, or battle. Whenever the latter has free time, he would invest all of it in building gadgets, weapons and artillery which are meant for his companions to use in combat.

In times of war, he is equipped with a huge variety of weapons nearly impossible to count. He is the smarter and much more knowledgeable counterpart of Starscream, being a better soldier under Megatron.

Personality[]

Skywarp is smart and knows what he is doing. He was somehow involved in the construction of the Decepticon Combiner Devastator, which was presumably ordered to be launched by Lord Megatron himself. He prefers to spend his time meaningfully in inventing and crafting weapons instead of creating some ruckus on Earth like typical decepticons do.

Trivia[]

  • Skywarp established his presence in the Titan Movie Comics, instead of the Transformers Films themselves.
  • His toy sold under the Mechtech toyline production was a redeco of both Thundercracker's and Starscream's.
  • It is unknown whether this version of Skywarp has the capability to teleport, just like Dreadwing.
  • He is deeply trusted by Megatron.
