The Slasher is a supporting antagonist in the 2024 Roblox RPG game Block Tales, serving as the secondary antagonist of the game's second chapter, All Hallows' Eve.
He is a mysterious guardian that was hired by either Shedletsky or Telamon to guard the Ghostwalker inside Telamon's manor. He encounters the player and battles them after they find the hyperball in the middle of the catacombs.
Appearance[]
The Slasher is a coal-black colored humanoid that wears a gray coat, what appears to be a black shirt, blue jeans, and a hockey mask. He wields a machete as his choice of weapon and his eyes glow red during attacks.
Biography[]
The Slasher is first mentioned by the Ghost Chef when talking to him and how either Shedletsky or Telamon hired him to guard the Ghostwalker located in the basement of the Manor. Once the player completes the Ghost Chef's quest and enters the catacombs of the basement, they find a hyperball in the middle of the second room, only for the Slasher to drop in and battle them. After his defeat, the Slasher suddenly levitates into the open coffin behind him and is not seen for the rest of the chapter.
The Slasher, alongside Green Noob, Purple Noob, and a Mold Man can later be refought on floor 34 of the Pit, but this doesn't affect the storyline whatsoever.
Trivia[]
- Based on many promotional artworks and the chapter intro, the game attempts to mislead the player into believing that the Slasher would be the main antagonist of Chapter 3. However, that turns out not to be the case as the chapter's antagonist instead turns out to be HATRED.
