Slim Charles is a secondary character in HBO's The Wire. He is an enforcer for the Barksdale Organization who switches to working under Proposition Joe following the collapse of the Barksdale Organization.
He is portrayed by Anwan Glover.
Personality[]
Slim Charles is an affable and highly competent enforcer. He is far more intelligent than the average muscle, at times comparable to the drug lords themselves in this regard. He is deeply loyal to his superiors, but at the same time won't hesitate to give his own input if he believes they are making an unwise decision.
He has a strong sense of honor, being outraged when Sapper and Gerard violate the Sunday truce and he tells Omar that if Prop Joe had any involvement in Butchie's torture and murder, he would have joined Omar in his revenge campaign.
