Slimes are major antagonists in Tower Heroes.

They are a race of sentient slimes and are some of the most recurring enemies in the game.

Biography

Base Game

The Slimes serve as the main antagonists of the maps Castle Town and Rooftop Rumble as well as the tutorial of the game. In other maps, they serve as minor enemies, usually the first enemies to spawn. The follower description of Slime King reveals that despite being a king, he wants to be "much more". The Slimes aid him in this mission. The existence of the mafia slimes suggests they may also have connections to the mafia seen in the map Corporate Chaos.

In Rooftop Rumble, Slimes return to attack the heroes again, presumably to hijack the helicopter that serves as the "base" of the map.

Crossovers

Aftermath

A variant of the Slimes known as Sludges are introduced on the special map Aftermath, a crossover with the Roblox game jam game of the same name (which is also made by the same developers as Tower Heroes).

Make a Cake

The Slimes appear as major antagonists in the Make a Cake crossover, serving as enemies on the Make a Cake side of the event. Every few minutes, a wave of Slimes would appear that the player can defeat via equipping a hero. It is theorized that the Slimes were sent by the Slime King.

Trivia

• It is unknown why the Slimes continue to attack the heroes despite the Slime King's redemption, however a likely theory is that these Slimes were hired by other characters, suggested by the existence of mafia slimes and honey slimes. Another possible theory is that the Slime King was usurped by another Slime.
