Slizer is an antagonist in Lego, in particular in Lego Space Police III line of sets. He is a criminal and member of the Space Biker Gang.

Appearance[]

Slizer wears a bulky, spiked helmet that hides a seemingly reptilian face. His body suit is covered with spikes and armor plates. His belt also bears the Space Biker Gang logo.

Biography[]

Slizer's first set appearance was in Set #5974. In the set, Slizer had been captured by the Space Police and was presumably being transported to another prison. However, Slizer's fellow Space Biker Gang members Kranxx came to rescue him.

In Slizer's second set appearance, he had the opposite role: Snake was the one who'd been captured, and Slizer had came to rescue him.

Slizer also appears in two stop-motion Space Police shorts. In one such short, H. Q. Briefing, Slizer lures an unnamed Space Police officer into a trap, steals his hover-bike, and goes to a Space Police briefing session disguised as said officer. He witnesses the leader of the Space Police briefing the rest of the officers about the Max Security Transport. During the briefing, the real officer bursts in and exposes Slizer. Slizer makes a run for it, with the entire Space Police force in pursuit.

Slizer reappeared in another short, known as It's A Trap.... This time, he went to Chaddy's Intergalactic Junkyard with Snake, Squidman, and one of the Skull Twins to try to steal a "scrapped" Space Police vehicle. Unbeknownst to the criminals, they were walking into a trap laid by the Space Police. The Space Police arrested Slizer, Squidman, and the Skull Twin, though Snake managed to escape.

Trivia[]

  • Slizer is named after the Slizers/Throwbots line from 1999-2000.
  • Slizer's head piece was later re-used in the Lego World Racers line.
  • Slizer was originally going to be named Spike.
