Prior to Oliver's trial hearing, Sloane approached Jim Radovick, former cop turned P.I. and wanted his help in digging up info on Tariq Bolad, who was a witness to Kincaid's murder and due to testify against her accused brother. Radovick initially declined but Sloane spoke with Oliver in a coded message to offer him a large amount of money and after she withdrew the money, he told her they were in business. Sloane believed Radovick would use some of the money to bribe Tariq into changing his story, but the plan went sideways after Radovick killing Tariq.
In court, she attended her brother's hearing and watched Oliver's lawyer Dominick Cook tried to get the case dismissed but A.S.A. Peter Stone refused and speculated Oliver was involved in the witness' murder, but the judge was not keen on the idea. However, Stone was given 24hrs. to prove his charges against Oliver while Cook got Oliver his bail and she was pleased Oliver was released from jail. CPD's Intelligence unit were put on the case, getting eyes on all the Tuxhorn family.
That night, Intelligence looked more into the family financials and discovered a large amount of money had been withdrawn. The exact number matched a quote Sloane stated in a Facebook post while talking with her brother. The unit realized it was a coded message and discovered Jim Radovick was involved with the family. They acknowledged they didn't have anything to charge Sloane but have enough to trick her into confessing.
Sloane was brought in and nervously stared at Det. Lindsay and Sgt. Voight comes in and says Radovick is in next room and has implicated Sloane as the mastermind. She states Radovick is lying but Voight says what matters most is credibility and as a former cop, he's likely believable. Linday tells her the severity of her involvement and states this is her last chance to talk. Sloane falls silent and ponders, as Voight prepares to leave and go with Radovick's story, but Sloane speaks up and confesses to hiring Radovick to bribe Tariq to keep quiet not kill Tariq. Sloane confirmed Oliver's involvement in the plot. Thanks to her, Radovick was also detained for his role in the crime.
Intelligence provides the evidence to Stone, who is able to successfully prosecute Oliver, leading to his imprisonment. As he was escorted to the prison, a defeated Oliver was taunted by an amused Lindsay who told him his sister was being charged too and is looking at three years for being accessory to conspiracy while berating him for wrecking her life too.
