Smoke is a minor antagonist in Mortal Kombat 1, and a more malicious counterpart to the other versions of Smoke, and is an unplayable character in Shang Tsung's chapter.
Dark Smoke is native to Titan Shang Tsung's New Era, instead of his real name being Tomas Vrbada, his name is said to be Enenra. During their invasion of Liu Kang's New Era, Smoke, along with Rain, faced the New Era's version of the Deadly Alliance while they were destroying portals to prevent the invasion, but were stopped from killing them by Raiden. In the subsequent battle, Shang Tsung and Quan Chi defeated them. As well as this, there was a version of LK-7T2 during the battle of Armageddon as a potential enemy, but he was defeated by the playable Final Warrior.
Personality[]
Unlike the mainstream incarnations of Smoke—who are typically morally neutral, coerced into villainy rather than born of it—this version is malevolent to his core. Once an honorable and loyal warrior, he was tempted by Bi-Han’s simple offer: betrayal in exchange for unrivaled power. Enticed by the promise, he willingly abandoned all he once upheld. Now transformed into a deranged and remorseless killer, he is cold, heartless, and consumed by darkness. Taking pleasure in spreading death, terror, and pollution across the realms, he carries himself with boundless arrogance, utterly beyond redemption.
The "Order of Darkness" version of Smoke (Enenra) almost doesn't have any redeeming qualities, making him more evil than the the classic versions of Smoke.
Dark Smoke acts as a Kameo for Dark Rain in Mortal Kombat 1's story mode.
Smoke serves as a boss in the first, third, fourth, sixth, and eighth seasons of Mortal Kombat 1's Invasions Mode.
