This unnamed man is the maternal grandfather of Snow White and the father of Queen Katherine (Snow White’s mother) and Queen Ingrid (Snow White’s aunt/stepmother).
He was the starter antagonist of Mirror Mirror A Twisted Tale, in which he was misogynistic toward Katherine and Ingrid, believing them to be only fit for housework.
Role in the story[]
He was first seen furiously coming home after work, complaining he was “suspended for showing up with only half a mind”, then when he saw his daughters play with dolls, he broke them, then told Katherine off for crying, then attempted to beat her, but Ingrid stopped him, killed him, then took Katherine away to work on a farm.
Trivia[]
This version of the Evil Queen’s father is the second antagonistic version of the character, the first being the mirror-maker in Fairest of All: A Tale of the Wicked Queen.
