Snowball is a contestant in the animated web series Battle for Dream Island.
He is an anthropomorphic snowball with super-human strength and a prideful attitude. He is very wrathful and believes he is superior to everyone else. He will often use brute force and violence to solve his problems, because of this, his reckless actions often end up causing harm towards others, sometimes even resulting in casualties.
Snowball also views many other contestants around him to be pathetic (most notably Golf Ball), whether it's because they're armless, their intelligence, unwillingness to kill, or all of the above. However, he can occasionally be approachable, as he is seen chatting with his friends.
He is voiced by series co-creator Michael Huang, who also voiced Four, Pencil, Blocky, Golf Ball, Flower, Puffball and the Flower Speaker Box in the same show.
Appearance[]
Snowball appears to be a white ball of hard-packed, wet snow. His metal form is composed of shades of gray with an off-white highlight in the upper left side of his body.
His body is white, and his outline is grayish-blue. In episodes 1-12, he had a smooth shading, while episode 13 and onwards gave him a more rugged shading, and in IDFB, his outline got thinner and more uniform.
Biography[]
Battle for Dream Island[]
Snowball is first seen hang gliding, he evades a midair Woody before landing on a mountain. He encounters Rocky and wakes him up. Snowball kicks him off the mountain after he talks to him. He is seen again with Blocky, Eraser, and Pen. When the competition starts, Snowball is placed on a balance beam along with the other contestants, but was knocked off by Ice Cube.
Snowball later joins the Squashy Grapes after being chosen by Needle to be on the team. He would compete with the other 19 contestants in various competitions, such as trying to do well on a test, making a cake, trying to pop opponents balloons while in the air, etc. Up until he was eliminated in "Don't Lose Your Marbles" with 47 votes, and gets sent to the TLC (Tiny Loser Chamber). He makes many brief appearances afterwards.
Battle for Dream Island Again[]
Snowball became eligible to be one of twenty-two contestants joining the second season. However, he does not join with only 143 votes. He was flung into the TLC, along with the other failed debuting contestants.
Island Dream for Battle[]
Snowball is not seen much in the episode. Book mentions wanting to bring Match back from the TLC (which is now inside the Locker of Losers), a shot from inside featuring some of its inhabitants, Snowball is seen amongst them looking uncomfortable. Later Tennis Ball and Golf Ball find Coiny and Pin near a garden, showing off the wall teleporter the duo found in an abandoned science museum. Coiny states that they could use it to get an eliminated contestant out. Many contestants gather around the TLC figuring out who to free. Coiny says that Snowball should be freed first as "he is a great guy and he doesn't deserve to be in that prison any longer". Golf Ball is in disgust of this idea and doesn't want him to get out. Everyone else banters on who should be let out before Yellow Face makes the viewers vote on who should be free.
It can be assumed that Snowball and everybody else in the TLC was eventually freed, as everyone inside can be seen outside in the fourth season.
Battle for B.F.D.I[]
Snowball is seen after Coiny asks him to throw some seeds into a pot, he misses and breaks a window in Cloudy's collection.
The competition starts as now he and 63 other contestants must split up into 8 teams of 8 people. Snowball, Flower, Pencil, Match, Bubble, Ruby, Fanny, and Lightning all form team "iance". He aids the team in the upcoming challenges to avoid being put up for elimination, in BFB 16, he leaves BFB alongside of 39 other contestants to join Two's new show, The Power of Two.
The Power of Two[]
Snowball joins Basketball, Grassy, Eggy, Robot Flower, Bell, and Foldy, on a team that would be called "The Strongest Team on Earth". He often tries to use brute strength in the many challenges following. Snowball has shown himself to have honor, with him sparing Teardrop in TPOT 8, due to her being sick. Currently, he is still competing in the show.

Trivia[]
- According to the Battle for Dream Island: Official Character Guide, Snowball's highest score on a test was a -75%, but he ripped the score in a fit of rage, making it look like a -7%.
- He is the only Ball themed contestant to have arms.
- He is one of eight characters to appear in the title of an episode, that being "Are you smarter than a Snowball?". The other seven are Teardrop, Donut, Puffball, Blackhole, Basketball, X, and Four.
- In the Firey's Candy Bar Adventure Flash Game, Snowball's asset was used as a boulder.
