Socktopus is a minor antagonist in the Netflix series adaptation of the Captain Underpants franchise, The Epic Tales of Captain Underpants, serving as the titular main antagonist of "The Strange Strife of the Smelly Socktopus".
He is an evil sock-monster created by George and Harold after knocking Krupp’s toupee polish off a self.
He was voiced by John DiMaggio, who also voiced Hans the Puffin in The Penguins of Madagascar, Dr. Drakken in Kim Possible, Hannibal McFist in Randy Cunningham: 9th Grade Ninja, Brother Blood in Teen Titans, Bender in Futurama, Nitro Zeus in Transformers: Age of Extinction, Fung in Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness, Arthur in Ralph Breaks the Internet, Jekhide in Mia and the Migoo, Lobo in Justice League: Action League, General Grievous in Star Wars: Clone Wars, and the Joker in Batman: Under the Red Hood.

He is an amalgamation of socks created through Krupp's toupee polish (which is made of evil) and his appearance is reminiscent to that of an octopus, and has two yellow buttons with red x's as his eyes, and a small ponytail.
Personality[]
He can be seen as an evil, heartless, sadistic, hegemonic villain with no remorse for his actions to collect enough socks in order to grow strong enough to conquer the world.
Biography[]
When Mr. Krupp yelled at Mr. Meaner for stinky gym socks as the students were handing them out here. Meanwhile, George and Harold message Mr. Krupp that there is pizza from the Piqua Pizza Palace is his car for being great, so Krupp decided to search in his car, but this was a prank, so to no avail.
After the boys put all the socks in his office, they decided to hide in his cabin for 3 hours. Inside, they make a comic book called Captain Underpants and the Smelly Socktopus. When they went to the cafeteria for Taco Tuesday, they got sent to Krupp’s office, where he yelled at them for the car pizza prank, but the three saw Socktopus kidnap Miss Anthrope and Mr. Meaner, and soon, he kidnaps Krupp. Shocked by this, the boy went to the basement and find out that’s Krupp’s toupee polish was the reason the all the socks that were piled up and cursed with it, meaning that they were evil. They find Socktopus with a plate of tacos, steal his tacos to distract him so they can dried up Krupp and turned him into Captain Underpants into battle Socktopus.
The three escape, and the boys tell Captain Underpants to get a giant shoe at the mini golf, but Captain Underpants got a giant windmill instead. They saw a soap commercial on Ms. Anthrope’s computer, so they get the soap and put it in the pool to defeat Socktopus. After Captain Underpants defeated Socktopus, Melvin Sneedly was still in the swimming pool, calling for help, but when Captain Underpants tried to save him, Socktopus pulled them into the pool, turning Captain Underpants back into Mr. Krupp. His fate in unknown, he could be killed by the soap.

- When Socktopus is defeated, he says "what a world," which is the last thing the Wicked Witch of the West spoke before melting in the Wizard of Oz.
