Sola-Ui Nuada-Re Sophia-Ri is a minor antagonist in the light novel and anime series Fate/Zero. She is the fianceé of Kayneth El-Melloi Archibald and serves as a second mana supply and later Master of Lancer during the Fourth Holy Grail War.
She is voiced by Megumi Toyoguchi in the Japanese version of the anime and Karen Strassman in the English version, the former of whom also voices Revy.
About[]
Although engaged to Kayneth, she has no feelings for him and often abuses him, going so far as to break one of his fingers and threaten to kill him when he was seriously injured already (due to being hit by one of Kiritsugu Emiya's Origin Bullets) just so he would hand over the Command Seals. She does, however, have feelings for Lancer, deferring to him when he defends Kayneth's behaviour. Upon obtaining the Command Seals, she has Lancer participate in the fight against Caster in the hopes of obtaining a further Command Seal as promised by Risei Kotomine (the overseer of the Fourth Holy Grail War). Upon Caster's defeat, Sola begins to celebrate upon believing that she'll now be able to remain with Lancer. However, she has her right hand cut off in a surprise attack by Maiya, Kiritsugu's assistant, and is knocked out. Maiya shots the hand to nullify the effect of the Command Seals still imprinted on them. Severely wounded, she is taken back to Kayneth's base of operations and used to force him into having Lancer commit suicide in exchange for her life via his remaining Command Seal (obtained from Risei). This is done with a pact which prevents Kiritsugu from killing either of them once Kayneth agrees to the terms. However, both he and Sola are swiftly shot by Maiya once this is done as she is not part of the pact's agreement.
