Soldier Stonekong is one of the eight Maverick bosses in Mega Man X7. He is voiced by Walter Roberts.
Biography
Soldier Stonekong dwelled deep within a forest, where X, Zero and Axl were searching for energy. Upon meeting him, Stonekong challenges them to a duel. When Axl encounters him, he scolds him for doing something so evil. Stonekong replies that he is aware that Red Alert is being manipulated, but he doesn't regret it as he fights for loyalty not justice.
Stonekong mainly attacks by dashing towards the player and launching his shield at them. He can also leap on the cylinder in the center of the arena, where he will create a huge rock which splits in 2, each part flies in the opposite direction and explode when they get near each other. He also wields a stone sword which can be destroyed. His weakness is the Explosion when playing as X or Axl and the Hadangeki when playing as Zero.
