Synopsis[]
Deception on Antimos[]
“ | Death worlds. Hive worlds. Feral worlds. These are the locations to which many of my... brethren... turn their attention when recruiting. They find great fighters there, it is true – deadly killers, who need little adjustment to adapt to the life of a Space Marine. However, my brothers and I make a distinction between a killer and a warrior. A warrior understands their place. They can see the larger picture. They are more flexible, more adaptable. Blinkered killers have their uses, but they are limited. We do not believe in limits. | „ |
~ The Ghost explaining why he chose the Aquilonis Porta Schola Progenium for his recruitment. |
At some point, Akurra's warband took part in traitor attacks on the Demeter Sector in the Ultima Segmentum. Hoping to replenish the ranks of his forces during the campaign, Akurra researched the Imperial military academies in the sector and decided to harvest recruits from the Aquilonis Porta Schola Progenium, an academy on the Imperial world of Antimos that had the best results in the sector. Opting for the path of least resistance, Akurra decided to pose himself and his men as loyalist Space Marines known as the "Silver Lions" to gain easy access to the facility.
Leading a force including Gadraen and Dyne, he travelled to the academy aboard a Thunderhawk Gunship. As the "captain" of the Silver Lions force, Akurra was quickly granted an audience with the commander of the facility: Commandant Emil Vissarius.
