Sonny is the main antagonist of the 2006 Canadian film Trailer Park Boys: The Movie. He is the owner of the Gentlemen's Club and Lucy's former lover.
He was portrayed by Hugh Dillon.
Biography[]
Early life[]
Nothing is known about Sonny's early life. At some point, while the Boys were in jail, Lucy gets a job as a stripper at the Gentlemen's Club and became Sonny's girlfriend.
Trailer Park Boys: The Movie[]
He is first seen at his club, playing the pool table singing along the song that was playing. He introduces himself to Ricky and tells about the clubs' rules before leaving. While Julian and Wanda talked for a bit, Sonny sees him and accuses him of stealing drinks, to which Julian says the drink is his. But Sonny has his bodyguards caught Bubbles, Cory, and Trevor stealing drinks and has them and others leave the club.
Later, Ricky returns to the Gentlemen's Club and talks to Lucy who was giving him a lapdance. Sonny walks into the V.I.P. room and sees Ricky and Lucy. He confronts Ricky and tells him that he and Lucy had sex twenty-eight times (but actually five times), which enrages Ricky. Julian tries to do something but stopped when Sonny pulls out his handgun.
During the wedding, Sonny drives up and confronts Lucy, demanding his 60 grand for the new breast implants. He is later arrested by Officers George Green and Ted Johnson after Wanda told the police that he had a handgun. He is last seen of jail and back at his club.
