Sorceress Jagul is a legendary Jamahl priestess and a supporting antagonist in Juukou B-Fighter. She later returns as the main antagonist of the two-part epilogue, which serves as a crossover with Blue SWAT and Tokusou Robo Janperson.
After merging with the spirits of past enemies of the B-Fighters, Blue SWAT and Janperson and Gun Gibson, Jagul becomes Destruction God Jagul.
She is voiced by Hisako Kyoda.
Biography[]
Jagul woke up after sleeping for 300 years. She was summoned to the Jamahl Fortress by Emperor Gaohm, who sought to harness the insect powers of the B-Fighters for the Jamahl's cause and tasked Jagul with creating an evil B-Fighter that wielded them. Using her magic, Jagul called forth swarms of insects to use for her ritual. She obtained a blood sample of Tetsuya Kai/Blue Beet and combined it with the powers of the insects to create an evil twin of Blue Beet, Black Beet. Shortly after his creation, Black Beet fought all three B-Fighters and mopped the floor with them, proving Jagul's efforts to be a success. As Black Beet desired to fight Blue Beet in a one-on-one duel, Jagul went out in the field to face G-Stag and Reddle so Black Beet would be able to face Blue Beet unimpeded.
Jagul managed to overwhelm the two B-Fighters with her magical abilities, but the B-Fighter's mentor Guru arrived and fought Jagul in a magic duel. Guru managed to repel Jagul at the same time Blue Beet was able to hold his own against Black Beet, prompting Black Beet to exit the scene for the time being. After both Jagul and Black Beet returned to the Jamahl Fortress, Black Beet killed Jagul, declaring that her purpose was served now that he was created.
However, Jagul somehow survived and resurfaced after Gaohm's destruction. Using her dark magic, Jagul was able to revive Bill Goldy and Mademoiselle Q along with numerous other past foes of the B-Fighters, Blue SWAT and Janperson and Gun Gibson to assist her in kidnapping women to use for her scheme. Mademoiselle Q led the monsters Jagul revived to attack the B-Fighters, Extradimensional Supplier Kabuto and Blue SWAT, who were soon joined by Janperson and Gun Gibson. Mademoiselle Q and Bill Goldy then kidnapped Sarah Misugi and Mai Takatori, at which point Jagul appeared to teleport them all away.
Back at Jagul's hideout, she drained the energies of Sarah and Mai, along with the other women she had captured, to use for her ritual to revive more monsters. However, Mai was able to cut herself free using Sarah's knife before taking her Dictator and using it to blast herself out. Mai then met up with the other heroes and led them back to Jagul's hideout, where she freed Sarah and disrupted Gigaro's revival by doing so. Despite this, Jagul was able to go through with the ritual and fuse with the spirits of the past foes of the B-Fighters, Blue SWAT and Janperson and Gun Gibson to become Destruction God Jagul. Jagul then absorbed Mademoiselle Q and Bill Goldy into herself to complete her transformation. As Destruction God Jagul, Jagul trapped the three teams of heroes inside a pocket dimension, but they were able to combine their powers to blow a hole inside of it that was large enough for Blue Beet to get through. Blue Beet was then able to deduce Jagul's weak spot, the hole left by Gigaro's failed revival, and struck it to destroy the pocket dimension and free his fellow heroes. The B-Fighters, Blue SWAT, Janperson, Gun Gibson and Kabuto then performed their finishers in a combined strike on Jagul's weak spot, destroying Destruction God Jagul and vanquishing Jagul, who was promptly dragged off to hell by the spirits of Bill Goldy and Mademoiselle Q.
