This pistol was my father's possession. I've kept it close to my heart since the day I killed him with it.
~ Voce in his speech to his partygoers.

Sotto Voce is the secondary antagonist of Red Notice. He is a notorious international arms dealer.

He was portrayed by Chris Diamantopoulos, who also portrayed David Willard in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Doc Seismic in Invincible, and Clark Ingram in the TV series Hannibal.

Biography[]

Sotto Voce is an international arms dealer. Little is known about his backstory aside from his father, who was noted as abusive and once strangled him when he was 14 year old. Voce later shot and killed his father.

Voce held an annual masquerade ball at his Valencia mansion and John Hartley and Nolan Booth infiltrated it in order to steal Cleopatra's third egg. To do so, they took his thumbprint from a cup, used deepfake technology to fool his scanner and snuck into his treasure room. Unfortunately, they were attacked and subdued by Sarah Black, who Voce was in a relationship with.

Voce brings the two men to the basement of a bullfighting arena, where he has Black electrocute Hartley until Booth confesses where the third egg is. Voce then strangles Hartley himself and Booth finally tells them that the egg is in an Egyptian pyramid. Black drugs Voce during a toast and flees to get the egg herself.

Voce soon wakes up and starts shooting at them, missing due to the effects of the drug, and Hartley and Booth escape to the bullfight above. Voce attempts to shoot them through a trapdoor and then climbs up the ladder and opens it, aiming to fire at them again. The bull then runs into the trapdoor, which slams shut onto his head. Whether this killed Voce or simply injured him is unknown, but he never appears again.
