~ Souldozer being defeated by the Foxy Fighters |
Souldozer is one of the beginning bosses in the 2011 Christian adventure-action game, The Pilgrim's Progress, created by Scott Cawthon, inspired by the film of the same name.
Souldozer would also return in Scott Cawthon's 2016 action role-playing game, FNaF World, pitted against Foxy and his crew. He was voiced by PJ Heywood, who also voiced William Afton in the same series, Nur-Ab-Sal in Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis, Richard Delahunt in Hitman: Blood Money, and David Bringdown in Phineas and Ferb.
Appearance[]
Souldozer is a robotic machine with features mostly found on bulldozers (hence the name), he has four massive spinning wheels, with spikes emanating from multiple parts of his body.
Personality[]
While not having been given a defined personality in The Pilgrim's Progress, FNaF World shows he's cocky and blunt with his methods, while also being rather nonchalant about things, such as when he was defeated and bluntly stated that it'd be the last the player would see of him.
History[]
The Pilgrim's Progress[]
Serving as a beginning mech, he would attempt to take out Christian on his journey to heaven. However, he was quickly defeated.
FNaF World[]
Foxy, Toy Chica, Nightmare Chica and JJ enter the sub-tunnel minigame, Foxy Fighters and are promptly instructed by Fredbear to shut the game down. Souldozer then makes his introduction. Foxy calls out that Souldozer wasn't in the correct game, in which Souldozer reveals he wasn't appreciated in his last outing in The Pilgrim's Progress, so he was going to show his full power now.
After shooting up countless enemies that Souldozer had sent out, the bot decides to strike on his own, sending out a lot of enemies, bullets and explosives. During one of these attacks, Nightmare Chica's plane is shot down, as the fight reaches it's peak. Souldozer is eventually taken out, declaring that this isn't the last the player will see of him, before correcting himself and saying that this is the last time he'll be seen, allowing Foxy and the remaining two girls to blow up the processing core and get out of the minigame.
Trivia[]
- Souldozer's sprites in World are directly ripped from his idling animation in The Pilgrim's Progress. Scott stated in a Reddit comment that he wanted to make custom sprites for Souldozer, however, the 3D model for him had been lost.
