Sound Beast (サウンドビースト Saundo Bīsuto) is a minor antagonist of Uchuu Keiji Sharivan who appears in episode 5. He is a Makai Beast who owns a club where he brings any teens through a teenage boy named Tokio who works for him and then unlock and enhanced their telekinetix abilities in order to help Madou gain more army.
He is voiced by late Eisuke Yoda, who also voiced Volcano Mask General Magman in Himitsu Sentai Gorenger, Shine in J.A.K.Q. Dengekitai, Führer Taboo in Dai Sentai Goggle V, and Lu-Long, Parchis, Demost and Silver Shark in Sekai Ninja Sen Jiraiya. His human form was portrayed by late Kenji Ushio.
Biography[]
The Sound Beast is created as part of Space Crime Syndicate Madou's plan to capture many teenagers with hidden telekinetic abilities and bring them into his club through a young teenage boy named Tokio whom he forced into working for him where he would put them in a machine which could unlock and enhanced their abilities and turn them into psychics, all in order to make an army of psychics for Madou. He also knew that Tokio had a girlfriend named Youko, so he has no problem threatening her life in order to keep him under his thumb for his plans.
When Tokio and Youko are trying to run away after hearing the word "psychic", the Sound Beast eventually appears in front of them on the street and playing a flute and then blew up Tokio's motorcycle which made them fall down the road. Even after Den eventually found out about what Madou had done to them, Tokio refused to admit about what happened and desperately told him to get out, but not before begging the Sound Beast that he'll do anything what he wants as long as he will spared Youko's life.
After mentally tortured a male teenager that Tokio had brought for him to enhanced his telekinetic abilities, Sharivan's partner Lily eventually disguised herself as one of the club's customers to discover the Sound Beast's plans until she was exposed by Doctor Polter. The Sound Beast attempt to kill Lily, but only to be stopped by Sharivan before he escapes which allowed Sharivan to destroy the machine that enhanced others' telekinetic abilities.
Enraged of hearing Sharivan destroyed the ESP developing machine, the Demon King Psycho orders for Youko to be killed since she was the one who's in contact with Sharivan. The Sound Beast and the group of psychic teenagers appears in front of Tokio and Youko at the cliff to kill the latter, but only to kill the former when he tried to stop him. This caused Den Iga became enraged of witnessing this and transformed into Sharivan to fight against the Makai Beast. After they're dragged into Genmu World, the Sound Beast went to attack Sharivan with his psychic abilities and crescent-bladed staff. Finally, Sharivan finished off the Makai Beast with Sharivan Crash, therefore avenging Tokio's death.
