The Space Monkeys are a violent group of terrorists led by Tyler Durden who work in part of the plot for Project Mayhem and are supporting antagonists in Fight Club.
Overview
Tyler first announced Project Mayhem when the club was threatened to get shut down. It began with one man who went through a long initiation before being accepted into it after this new member shaved his head Tyler decided to call his minions Space Monkeys. Every member of Project Mayhem with the exception of Tyler/The Narrator, Angel Face and Bob were all required to shave their heads, every member also had to be a member of Fight Club itself and pass an initiation test. All members had in their possessions black boots, trousers and shirts and were intensively loyal to their superiors to the point of dying for them and respected each other a lot shown after the death of Bob. They are seen doing intimidating behaviour and terrorist acts on the news and later threaten to cut an public figure who was speculating about an underground group and was going to start an investigation. They appear last blowing up several bank company buildings and throwing filing cabinets outside of the windows of said buildings before fleeing.
