Militaristic Pirates

The Space Pirates are a minor antagonistic faction of Kid Icarus: Uprising.

They were a group of intergalactic thieves who travel across the Galactic Sea and stole the Three Sacred Treasures from the constellations. They make their first and last appearance in Chapter 8 and Chapter 24.

Past[]

Not much about the Space Pirates are known but they are known to travel through the Galactic Sea to travel through the skies to search for any treasure under the command of the Space Pirate Captain. Under the captain's leadership, they are known to steal constellations from the skies to seek any treasure presumably to have enough usage to reverse engineer for weaponry to conquer the skies.

Kid Icarus: Uprising[]

During the war against the Underworld Army, the Space Pirates learned about the Three Sacred Treasures being hidden in the constellations and successfully raided as they secure and capture them to bring them back to their ship. Despite their success, it would also attract the Underworld Army's attention to begin an assault on their ship with the Space Pirate Captain ordering his forces to hold them off to keep them away from the Three Sacred Treasures.

As the two sides battle, Pit is able to infiltrate the pirate ship with Palutena's guide to help him get inside. As Pit searches, the Space Pirates became aware of Pit's presence and were ordered to stop Pit from reaching the treasures. Despkte their advance stremgth and weapojry, Pit was able to defeat each of them and the Underworld forces within the ship and reached the deck where he meets up with the capta9n. The captain, now angered of Pit killing all the Space Pirates, puts a death threat on him to have him walk the plank only to met his own end by the Galactic Kraken when he gets captured and eaten by the creature. After Pit defeated the kraken and reclaimed the Three Sacred Treasures, the pirates are truly gone for good as they ongoing methods of stealing constellations has been brought to an end.

Despite their deaths, replicates of the Space Pirate Commandos are created by Dynto's as part of Pit's trial to earn the Great Sacred Treasure.

Trivia[]

The Space Pirates are a homage to the same name of the faction from the Metroid franchise.
The Space Pirates are the only known enemies that the Chaos Kin can't replicate using in Chapters 21.
