The Spaghetti Man is the titular main antagonist of the Grizzly Tales for Gruesome Kids episode of the same name. He is a strange humanoid entity that abducts children that refuse to finish the food that is given to them by their parents, and brings them to his abandoned pasta shop in Venice. Once a year, he puts all of the children he had captured into a giant steel pasta press, and turns them all into pasta, which he then sells to unwitting customers.
Biography[]
The Spaghetti Man is a mysterious figure that owns an abandoned pasta shop in Venice and once a year, he kidnaps children who refuse to eat their food and compacts them into becoming flour to turn into lasanga, macaroni, spaghetti or "fasta-pasta".
One day, the Spaghetti Man decided to break into the house of a boy named Timothy, as he had found out about Timothy's refusal to eat his food and hoped that a scare from his parents would entice him to start eating it more. He first lured Timothy's parents out of the kitchen to investigate, before making his way towards the kitchen. Timothy notices his appearance and attempts to scream, but the Spaghetti Man puts a hand over his mouth and begins scratching him before Timothy's parents return. They then warn Timothy that they believe the Spaghetti Man has just visited them and if he doesn't eat his food, he will be pastified in his factory. Despite this however, Timothy doesn't take the warning seriously.
Timothy continues to not eat his food for 2 days and after attempting to spite his mother for trying to force him to eat his food by flooding the bathroom, the Spaghetti Man decided that Timothy had crossed the line and kidnaps him to take to his factory. Timothy then wakes up in the factory to find that he has a badge labelled 'lasanga' on his clothes which he shows disgust at and he then tells the other 9 kids that were present that the Spaghetti Man isn't real and just a made-up story, before trying to leave the factory. The Spaghetti Man then appears out of nowhere and stops Timothy from screaming again, before murdering him and turning his remains into pasta, horrifying the other children who are then turned into pasta themselves off-screen.
The episode then ends with Timothy's father heading off to work and Timothy's mother preparing to cook dinner, which was lasanga made out of Timothy's remains, causing Uncle Grizzly to laugh hysterically before finally cutting away.
Appearance[]
In the original book, the Spaghetti Man was depicted both in the cover and the story he appears in as a humanoid, ogre-like creature.
In the TV series, he is depicted as dark silhouette of a tall spindly man with stringy hair that resembles spaghetti noodles, and has a pair of hands with long spaghetti-like fingers.
