Spector is the main antagonist from Heroes of Might and Magic II, King of Death scenario. He was a lich knight, ruler of the Wastelands.
Biography[]
Almost nothing can be known about Spector's past, it is certain that he was a knight and then a lich who brought the wastelands and its capital, Sherman, under his rule. After that, he wanted to conquer to the north and capture a grassy and a swampy castle, so he ordered two unknown necromancers to break into their territories at the same time and start the invasion. It is likely that Spector wanted a quick victory in a short time, as the two necromancers wanted to complete the task with only a small group, but the defenders of the two castles destroyed them and the dice quickly turned. Seeing the failure, the lich decided to carry out the conquest himself and set out personally with an undead army, but he was also unsuccessful and the defenders of the two castles finally defeated and destroyed Spector in a counterattack and captured the Sherman castle, thus his short reign on the wastelands it's over.
Powers and abilities[]
Spector wasn't one of the strongest liches, but he wasn't weak either. His magical powers were reasonably good, but he was gifted and strong in necromancy, and experienced in ballistics and catapult control. His life also shows that he was not a bad strategist, but he was too hasty and tried to use strategies that brought results in a short time, which did not succeed.
