Speed Buster is a major antagonist in No More Heroes. She is a seventy-six year old assassin that seemingly lives in Speed City.
She was voiced by Kimiko Saitō in Japanese and Mitzi McCall in English.
Biography[]
When Travis arrives at Speed City, he sees a large laser beam directed at his master Thunder Ryu who tells Travis to back off because he's duelling Speed Buster. However, when he is distracted by Travis' cat Jeane, he gets blasted until he explodes, with Travis turning to face her in order to avenge his master.
Speed Buster plays dumb, pretending to not hear Travis as she sets up her Buster Launcher. Once it's complete, she mocks Travis, saying that she loves killing losers who don't value their lives.
Eventually, Travis destroys her cannon, leaving her defenseless. Speed Buster congratulates Travis and, when she learns that he is Thunder Ryu's student, hopes that he will become as great as his master. With a kiss on the cheek as a present to remember her, Travis decapitates her.
