Trish, better known as The Sphinx, is a minor antagonist in The Hex. She is the second of the three major bosses and guardians of the Orbs of Power in Secrets of Legendaria before being moved to a dating simulator after Chandrelle ruins the game.
Personality[]
The Sphinx is truly a disorganized person who speaks rather harshly to her minions. Due to the game's script however, she is forced to speak respectfully in riddles and rhymes. She is forced to be flirtatious to the player in Fantasy Island, but it's more than likely that she greatly resents the game despite another boss, the Kraken, wanting to get in.
Biography[]
Secrets of Legendaria[]
The Sphinx first appears in Secrets of Legendaria. She is the second boss of the game, when the player reaches the Northern Desert, her right-hand, Jack, puts the player on a quest to find thirty ankhs for her. However, the player simply gives him buggy ankhs to reach the Sphinx who'll ask rather harshly if her fruit platter has arrived, only to see that it was really the game's protagonists who arrived at her pyramid. She then puts up an act, speaking in rhymes but she is quickly cut off by Chandrelle who is eager to get on with the "battle". The Sphinx reveals that rather than a battle, she is really proposing the two protagonists with a quiz. However, if an question is answered wrongly, she will attack. A Twitch user, Bandito7, will help the player answer correctly however making her game mostly easy. Once the quiz ends, she drinks a vial of poison to claim defeat.
Vicious Galaxy[]
In Vicious Galaxy, after Weasel Kid blows up the Gameworks, Lazarus will have to activate the elevator to get back to the top floor. The Sphinx's right-hand man, Jack, will prevent this in the name of revenge for Lazarus being complicit in Secrets of Legendaria's fall, letting Lazarus know that because of his actions the Sphinx was moved to a dating simulator. His anger, showing that despite the Sphinx being a demanding leader, he still had respect for her. Lazarus gives his condolences.
Fantasy Island[]
If you were to set the in-game sceneId in the code from whichever one you are playing (for example, Secrets of Legendaria would be "flashback_sorceress_1") into "flashback_fantasyisland", you would be treated to a secret easter egg showing what became of the Sphinx after her defeat.
