Spiegel

Spiegel is a minor antagonist in Dragon Quest VI. He is an evil wizard that imprisoned princess Miralda and lives in the tower of Spiegelspire in the Dream World.

Appearance[]

Spiegel is a wizard that wears red clothes with yellow lining. He also wears a white hat with a red orb on it.

Biography[]

Spiegel is a demonic wizard that imprisoned princess Miralda in a mirror long time ago, and wanted to force Miralda to marry him by letting her go free from the mirror if she did. However, Miralda, knowing that she would suffer if she did, rejected Spiegel.

The mirror of the princess eventually went to the hands of Swanstone kingdom, and generations of the kings treated it as a tourist attraction. However, the current King of Swanstone sensed Miralda's suffering and tried to free her. To achieve this, the king set his eyes on the Ra's mirror, which is a mirror that show the truth.

The heroes soon arrived the Kingdom of Swanstone with the Ra's mirror, and they made their way to the basement, where the mirror is stored. There, they encountered the king, and after using the Ra's mirror against the mirror, instead of freeing Miralda, it revealed a grinning Spiegel behind her. The heroes they went to the Dream World and located Spiegel's hideout, and then encountered Spiegel and fought him, with resulted in Spiegel's defeat and death. With Spiegel's demise, Miralda was freed for good.
