Spike is the main antagonist of the video game, Jurassic: The Hunted. He is a Spinosaurus that wants to kill Dylan Craig and the other survivors of the Sayrus Expeditions.
History[]
Spike first showed up when Dylan was traversing through a crevice and tried to eat him, walking off when he failed.
Spike later appeared when he chased Sabrina Sayrus, and eventually Dylan, into a makeshift log fort. Dylan fought Spike as a distraction while giving Sabrina time to escape. After Spike was stunned, Dylan escaped while Spike was distracted by killing an approaching Tyrannosaurus Rex.
Later on, Spike returns while Dylan, Sabrina, and the others were trying to return to their world via a temporal vortex. This time, Spike was trying to destroy the fort and eat Dylan and the others for his next meal. Dylan distracts Spike by shooting him several times and stuns him, allowing Dylan and Sabrina time to escape while Armando "Rock" Depiedra and James Sayrus hold off Spike. Dylan and Sabrina escape and returned to their world, only to be stranded on a small island. All of a sudden, Rock and James arrived on a submarine with Spike, who was presumably dead, but was still alive when he opened his eyes before the credits rolled.
Trivia[]
- The duel between Spike and the tyrannosaurus is reminiscent of the battle between the spinosaur and the tyrannosaur from Jurassic Park 3.
- Spike even kills the rex in the same manner (breaking its neck).
