Spirass is a tarantula Mutian created by Crown and act as an antagonist in episode 4 of Shichisei Toshin Guyferd.
She is portrayed by Yuko Hiwasa.
Biography[]
Spirass was created by Megumi Shion by dosing a test subject (presumably a female pro-wrestler) with Fallah. She was sent out to gather test subjects to be experimented on by Crown with Fallah. Spirass targeted a schoolbus Yuu and his classmates were riding on after a swimming lesson, kidnapping them all with her Spiral Net technique and bringing them to a Crown compound where they were placed in a cell to await experimentation. However, Gou was able to trace Spirass's residual Ki with help from Shiroishi and locate the building were Yuu and the other captives were being kept.
After Yuu and his friends managed to reach their bus escaping, Spirass was ordered by Shion to subdue Gou. Gou then transformed into Guyferd and managed to momentarily knock her out before going to save the schoolkids who were threatened by a group of Fangs. Then as the schoolkids managed to fully escape the facility, Shion ordered Spirass to kill Guyferd, as his dead body is good enough for experimentation. At first, Spirass dominates the fight using her pro-wrestling catch technique combined with Spiral Beam technique, however Guyferd eventually adapt to this, throwing her catch attempts and tried to kill her with Kyoukuseiken, which she managed to stop using her Spiral Beam. Briefly shocked but undeterred, she attacked him again, only to got completely overpowered and knocked back. Guyferd eventually managed to kill Spirass using his Jiraishin (Landmine Shock) dropkick on her face, causing her to move backward while screaming in pain before she exploded. Due to her demise, Shion ordered evacuation of the Genetic Laboratory.
