Someone PLEASE revert the page to the RobloxianSpirit stuff. Spirit is not and never will be a ghost. Sorry for putting this here But i do not want misinfo here.
Appearance[]
Spirit has a white body, light green arms, green legs, and a black head. They also wear a "StudioIcon" t-shirt with the "R" from the old Roblox logo on it. They also has a standard Roblox smile on their face.
Personality[]
Based on their descriptions and their actions in the games in which they appear, the Spirit appear to be withdrawn, emotionally detached beings driven by grand and destructive intent and a possible messianic delusion, viewing themselves as "harbinger of doom". Obsessed with a prophetic obsession with destruction, they view the world, or at least Roblox, as corrupt and seek to purge it through chaos and death. Their rare, rhythmic bursts of speech resemble dark mantras, revealing a sadistic obsession with pain as an end in itself, not a means to an end. The Spirit's theatrical language and distant silence suggest a cold, calculating presence, lurking in the shadows, emerging only to disturb, threaten, or herald the end.
History[]
Origin[]
The spirit character was created by miked, who, at the time, was one of the platform's top developers. In the summer of 2007, miked held the title of wealthiest user on Roblox and, by the end of the year, had two of the most popular games on the platform, one of which became the first to reach one million visits.
Miked would later go on to create a game that helped popularize the Spirit myths. Two alt accounts, both now terminated, were registered on May 27, 2007, likely in connection to the development of this lore. Around that time, stories began to circulate involving players like RobloxianKid appearing in popular games such as Crossroads, claiming to be the spirits of deceased Roblox users. Using one of his alt-accounts, robloxianimmortal, miked created a game called Torture Champer. The game introduced eerie imagery and cryptic messages that altered a player’s profile stats, rapidly adding fake deaths and deletions. This sparked widespread discussion and controversy across the forums.
Biography[]
The Spirit character doesn't have a long, detailed, or complex backstory. According to the original story, the Spirit, true to its name, was the spirit of a deceased Roblox player, who would haunt the platform and its players with malicious intentions. Beyond this, it's unclear exactly how their spirit came to possess a Roblox account or what they wanted from Roblox, thought it's often theorized that their demise had something to do with Roblox and that this is the reason behind their actions.
Impact[]
The Spirit character quickly captured the attention of countless players after its introduction. A slew of fake accounts, collectively known as "spirits," were created and began wreaking havoc in games, similar to the real spirit account. In response, a group called Roblox Spirit Killers (RSK), acting as a kind of clan, was formed. As its name suggests, this group aimed to combat and stop the spirits in games.
However, despite the Spirit character's sudden popularity, by the end of 2007, the year the character unexpectedly appeared, all mention of Spirit had been almost completely erased from media and forgotten. While some efforts were made to revive the myth, all were in vain.
Interestingly, despite its sudden disappearance, Spirit continued to inspire future myths, most notably the infamous 1x1x1x1, which would later become the first (and so far only) Roblox myth to be officially recognized by Roblox. In fact, when the 1x1x1x1 character was first created, its creator John Shedletsky was directly inspired by Spirit's appearance when creating an account for 1x1x1x1, further strengthening the Spirit's place in Roblox.

Quotes[]
| “ | Leave now human. Leave now before it is too late. The spirits demand it. Please leave, you disturb the peace! YOU MUST LEAVE NOW! If you do not leave you shall be punished. WipeOuts shall be added to your profile. (5 second countdowns begins) PUNISHMENT! | „ |
| ~ The message that appears when a player joins Spirit's Torture Chamber game, likely spoken by the Spirit themselves. |
Trivia[]
- While there's no solid evidence from any official source, a small group believes Spirit and 1x1x1x1 are the same person. While the 1x1x1x1 character was directly based off Spirit when it was first created, it seems unlikely this is true or will be made official in the near future, as Spirit hasn't appeared or been mentioned in any official Roblox events to date.
- While horror stories originating from Roblox are often referred to as "myths", Spirit's is considered more of a Creepypasta due to its darker theme.
- The concept that Spirit was dead had never been directly confirmed by anyone involved with the original story, even being heavily implied to not be the case.
