We loved you. From your first Holocaust hoax video. You know, you...
~ A duplicate of Splinter to Firecracker before dying from Splinter Prime's death.

Splinter is a minor antagonist in the Amazon tv series The Boys. He is a supe with the power of self-replication with an unhealthy obsession towards fellow supe Firecracker.

He is portrayed by Rob Benedict, who also played God in Supernatural and Vincent Le Mec in Lucifer.

Biography[]

Background[]

Nothing is known of Splinter's past, but he was presumably injected with Compound V as an infant and was given the power of self-replication. Due to his ability to duplicate himself, he wore a black t-shirt and dubbed himself "Splinter Prime" to differentiate himself from his clones. At some point he befriended Firecracker after seeing her Holocaust hoax video, and developed a romantic interest with the fellow supe. His feelings turned to an unhealthy obsession, as Splinter got a tattoo of Firecracker and started to pleasure himself to a picture of her.

The Boys[]

At TruthCon, Splinter presents Firecracker to the crowd while having his duplicates arrange multiple scenes. After the presentation, he enters a sauna to pleasure himself to a photo of Firecracker while his clones perform anilingus, but is caught in the act by Frenchie and The Female. Afterward, he assists Firecracker and Sister Sage in confronting the Boys, resulting in a fight ensuring between the two groups. Despite several replicates being killed by the CIA team, Splinter overpowers them until Billy Butcher arrives and evens the playing field. The fight ends with Butcher killing Splinter Prime by shoving his crowbar into his head, resulting in the other clones to die simultaneously as they confess their feelings to Firecracker.
