The Spyglass Pirate is the secondary antagonist of Rayman 2: The Great Escape.
Biography[]
He appears only reporting to Razorbeard about Rayman's progress, only for Razorbeard to wrathfully ordering Spyglass to capture or kill Rayman.
His active role appears in "Tomb of the Ancients", where he brainwashes Rayman's friend Clark using the RC device on his back into attacking Rayman. However, Rayman himself manages to destroy the device, forcing Spyglass Pirate to flee.
He finally appears near the end, where he reports to Razorbeard about Rayman's arrival on their ship. Angered, Razorbeard tales that he (Spyglass) will "swim in molten lava" as a punishment and orders him to prepare Grolgoth. It is unknown what happened to him after this, but he's presumably killed during the destruction of Prison Ship.
Personality[]
He appears as a cowardly messenger of Razorbeard, never wanting to anger him. But despite this, he dislikes other pirates for making fun of him and does everything he can to fulfill his master's plan.

He appears as a robot with a square head and a pair of black glasses. He also wears a red pirate bandage and big pirate pants.
