Squeezeplay is a minor antagonist in Generation One of the Transformers franchise. He was based on a figure from the 1988 toyline.
Marvel Comics[]
Squeezeplay was introduced in Issue #46 as one of a trio of previously unseen Decepticon Headmasters serving Scorponok on Earth. He and associates Fangry and Horri-Bull assisted Scorponok in his plan to trick a group of human bounty hunters known as the Roadjammers into hunting Autobots for them. However, on learning the true nature of their employers, the Roadjammers used the equipment with which they'd captured Autobots Fizzle, Sizzle and Backstreet to also gain control of Squeezeplay and the others and turn them against Scorponok. Scorponok was forced to destroy the equipment, freeing the Autobots who took the Roadjammers to safety. Squeezeplay reappeared in Issue #49 during the Underbase Saga, as one of Scorponok's troops charging to his rescue when he was attacked by Ratbat's Earth Decepticons.
After a lengthy absence, Squeezeplay reappeared in Issue #74 as one of the Transformers transported back to Cybertron to battle Unicron. Squeezeplay was among those who survived the battle and ended up serving new Decepticon leader Bludgeon as he invaded the planet Klo, slaughtering the population and also the Autobots who followed them there. Their carnage was halted by the arrival of Optimus Prime, and in the subsequent battle, Squeezeplay was blasted by members of the anti-Decepticon superhero team the Neo Knights and possibly left deactivated.
Squeezeplay appeared in the pre-movie Marvel UK story "Prime's Rib", which showed him in 1995 being recruited by Shockwave along with Fangry and Horri-Bull to attack Optimus Prime's unveiling of a new secret weapon. He was promptly taken down by said secret weapon, Arcee.
