Sssqueeze is a supporting antagonist of the He-Man and the Masters of the Universe franchise. He was a member of the Snake Men and one of the servants of King Hiss who possessed the power to elongate his arms.
In the 2002 animated serie, he was voiced by Brian Dobson, who also voiced King Hiss and Skeletor in the same series.
Personality[]
Ssqueeze was a man of few words, and like most Snake Men, completely loyal to King Hiss. In some episodes, he seemed intent on moulding Kobra Khan into a "true" Snake Man, encouraging him to feed on victims, something Khan (who had grown up apart from his people) was very reluctant to do.
Biography[]
During the ancient times, when Snske Men were conquering Eternia, Sssqueeze was a loyal servant of King Hiss and one of his top Generals. Along with his fellow snake men he was imprisoned within the void beneath the Snake Mountain for thousands of years before finally being freed by Kobra Khan and General Rattlor at the time of the second season. Sssqueeze's arms could extend to considerable lengths and had living snake-heads at the end instead of hands. The villain could use them to constrict his enemies with ease, and to climb great distances.
After a failed attempt to take Castle Grayskull, the Snake Men went into hiding from He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, while Sssqueeze and Tung Lashor were assigned and tasked by their master to find the Tablet of the Elders while King Hiss remained in his hiding from the Eternia authorities.
Soon after the villains located the tablet, Sssqueeze and Tung Lashor hunted King Randor and Queen Marlena through a labyrinth on their way back from their diplomatic mission. Sssqueeze later became suspicious of his fellow comrade Kobra Khan, whom he despised, due to Khan's reluctance to consume human flesh.
Sssqueeze was supposed to return in the third season of the series, slong dith other Snake Men, but unfortunately the series were cancelled before the release of the final season.
Trivia[]
- In the original toy series collection, Sssqueeze was called Tanglor. He was also depicted (along with Snake Face) as part of Hordak's Evil Horde.
