~ DJ Drama at the end of SORRY NOT SORRY, foreshadowing the themes of Chromokopia. |
Tyler Gregory Okonma, also known as Tyler, The Creator, Real Tyler, or St. Chroma, is the main antagonist of Tyler, The Creator's seventh studio album, CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST: The Estate Sale, as well as the titular main protagonist of his eighth studio album, Chromokopia.
Throughout the music video for SORRY NOT SORRY, he is shown violently dragging the many alter egos of Tyler, The Creator throughout the years away and murdering them offscreen, before eventually beating the at-the-time latest iteration of Tyler, "Tyler Baudelaire", to death. This is symbolic of Tyler finally rejecting his tradition of having an "alter ego" or "persona", and being completely honest in Chromokopia. In spite of this, many fans still consider this honest version of Tyler to be another alter ego (most likely on account of his outfit), and referred to as St. Chroma, named after the first track of Chomokopia.
He was portrayed by Tyler Gregory Okonma, better known as Tyler, The Creator, who also played himself, Ace, Tron Cat, Wolf Haley and Sam in the WOLF trilogy, the titular character in IGOR, and Blitz Commet in Regular Show.
