~ Beaudry threatening Dexter Morgan. |
Stanley "Stan" Beaudry is a one-shot character in ShowTime's TV series Dexter, appearing in the season four episode "Hello, Dexter Morgan".
He was portrayed by Ian Patrick Williams, who also played Klaus Rhinehart in Hunters.
Biography[]
Beaudry was arrested in 2007 after he murdered a prostitute by beating her to death with a crowbar. However, the murder weapon was contaminated during the chain of custody and the police were forced to release him.
Dexter Morgan needed somebody to frame as the Trinity Killer so he would have time to take care of the real killer, Arthur Mitchell. He chose Beaudry as the most likely suspect because as a trucker, he traveled to all the cities of Mitchell's victims. He went to the shack where Beaudry lived, but found out he was in Jacksonville.
Pretending to be a truck driver named "Little Chopper", Dexter asked for the location of "Stan the Man" (Beaudry's handle) and was told he was at Freddy's Truck Stop. After arriving there, he broke into Beaudry's truck and strangled him into unconsciousness. While restrained, Beaudry began screaming abuse and threatening to kill Dexter, but Dexter slashed his throat with a reciprocating saw and dismembered his corpse. He then planted evidence in the Trinity case in his truck and shack, leading to him being named as the prime suspect so he could personally take care of Arthur.
