Stanley Coleman is a minor antagonist of the 2003 horror game Silent Hill 3. He is a patient in the Brookhaven Hospital, who stalks the Heather Mason in the hospital.
He does not appear in the game directly and only communicates with Heather using his diaries. Despite this he is widely considered as one of the scariest aspects of the game.
Story[]
Stanely has been locked in the Brookhaven Hospital by the Organization. It is implied that he killed another patient whom he describes as "the man with the tattoo" and that he was killed by Leonard Wolf. It is revealed by the mysterious phone caller to Heather that he is dead and known under his name "Number 7", Heather can find his corpse in the morgue and he will grunt her name.
Personality[]
Stanley is described in his who has been described by medical records as passive, cowardly, and egoistic, and he is obsessed with a certain woman which has caused violent behavior in the hospital. He is delusional and believes that Heather is in love with him and trying to rescue him from the hospital and believes that he is the only sane person in the hospital. His love with Heather is also sadistic, in his notes he writes about how he fantasizes about ripping Heather's heart off and gauging her eyes out. He is also obsessed with random objects that he sticks on the wall, which include the Beatles, keys, spoons, and other things. One of his favorite poets is a poet named Eric, whom he quotes in his notes, he states that this poet describes his feelings towards Heather.
