Biography[]
Past[]
Stanley once worked in the United States military as a pilot and sniper. He gained plenty of experience on warfare tactics during his time in the army. Stanley also met Xeno and the two formed a friendship. The day of the petrification, Stanley meets Xeno at a science expo to gather more information on the petrified swallows. He learned from Xeno about the nature of the petrified swallows. Xeno says that despite the one swallow being stone, it was conscious. Soon after the mysterious light appears, Stanley was the first to spot the light. Immediately, he told the others nearby to not allow their consciousness to fade when they become a statue.
Stanley tries to protect Xeno but they, along with everyone at the meeting and across the Earth were petrified. For the next few millennia, Stanley manages to keep his consciousness from fading by thinking by using his experience from his time as a sniper.
After more than 3,700 years of being petrified, Stanley along with Xeno and the others broke free of their petrification. Seeing how most humanity were now stone, Xeno declares that he will take the opportunity to rule over the world with his knowledge and Stanley sides with him. Xeno, Stanley, and their group soon built a castle and a plant and sets up their territory in America as a starting point of Xeno's global domination agenda.
New America City Arc[]
Stanley first appears at night when members of the Kingdom of Science sets foot on Dr. Xeno's territory. Stanley watches the outsiders for some time before firing at them with a high-power weapon. The group retreats from the shooting and gets to safety in the water bulwark. Stanley wonders how they were able to sense him. Later after attempting to kill them the first time, Stanley returns in a plane and fires at the group as they were sailing down a river in the Perseus ship. As he continues to attack the ship, Senku with Kirisame's help manages to stop Stanley's attack by throwing a bag of acetylene gas at the plane’s engine. Stanley is forced to abandon the plane and jump to his safety and retreat. Stanley compliments his enemies on their move and Xeno tells him how they were able to stop his plane. Stanley leaves the plane.
Stanley comes across Gen when the latter was getting too close to Xeno's castle and takes him to the castle. In the castle, Xeno introduces himself and Stanley to Gen. Stanley and Xeno wanted to know about Gen and what he was doing. Gen tells them that he is with a genius scientist named Dr. Taiju. After Xeno calls Taiju and fails to get him and his people to join his side, Xeno orders Stanley to assassinate Taiju since the negotiations could not work out. Stanley, Luna, Max, and Carlos sets up a spot in a tree and Stanley positions his rifle customized by Xeno and aims it at the Kingdom of Science's ship. Stanley orders Luna to go into the ship to try and lure out Taiju so that he can fire one shot at him and kill him. When Luna gets onto the ship and tries to lure in Taiju, Xeno tells Stanley to not shoot Taiju.
By using a recording of Senku's voice, Xeno describes Senku's height and appearance to Stanley. When Stanley asks Xeno if he wants to go through with killing Senku, Xeno orders him to shoot him after a moment of hesitation. Stanley locates and shoots Senku severely injuring him and nearly killing him. Unbeknownst to Stanley, Senku uses a mixture of dilidant fluid, potato starch, and water to create a shield powerful enough to absorb most of the energy from the bullet. After finishing up his mission, Stanley returns to Xeno's castle to know about their new plan and strategy in dealing with the Kingdom of Science.
Stanley gets onto a new plane and goes back to the Perseus ship for another attack. To his surprise, he is greeted by Ryusui and Senku in another airplane. Stanley engages in an aerial battle against Ryusui and Senku and tries many times to get behind their airplane during their battle so that he can shoot their plane down. However, during the battle, Ryusui and Senku manages to get behind Stanley’s airplane and Ryusui takes out a fake gun to point at Stanley's airplane. Stanley tries to maneuver his plane to make it unpredictable for Ryusui and Senku to attack him, but they took advantage of Stanley's move and flew over his plane. Senku drops multiple bags of acetylene gas near Stanley's ship. The fluid gets absorbed into “Stanley's“ airplane engine causing the plane to fall out of the sky.
It turns out Stanley was not the pilot but actually his subordinate Charlotte Bony, which was discovered by Senku and Ryusui after they reach her. Stanley was actually on board the submarine before launching himself on the Perseus to confront his enemies. He manages to stop Matsukaze and Mozu, by shooting both in the shoulder. He then reports to Xeno of the enemy being defeated, unaware Xeno was captured.
When Stanley realizes that Senku is alive and captured Xeno, Stanley is angry and attempts to confront them on the river. But, Senku and his allies were able to get away and Stanley could not attack Senku. Stanley decides to take the remaining members of the Kingdom of Science as his hostages and prisoners and pursue Senku with the intention of retrieving Xeno. As Stanley wants to know where Senku was headed from Matsukaze, Ginro blurts out that Senku was heading to South America.
South America Arc[]
Having received information from Ginro about where Senku and Xeno are headed, Stanley and his platoon proceeds to follow Senku and the Kingdom of Science from the Pacific Ocean through South America. Each time, Stanley and his men comes close to retrieving Dr. Xeno and nearly killing members of the Kingdom of Science. Unbeknownst to Stanley, Senku and his men discovered a pyramid that contained petrification devices and used the devices to hide their ship from being detected via sonar. Despite the setback, Xeno manages to communicate to Stanley where Senku and his allies are heading.
As Stanley and men prepare to mount another attack on members of the Kingdom of Science, his men gets into a fight with Tsukasa Shishio, Hyoga, and Kohaku where they manage to kill Hyoga and mortally wound Tsukasa and Hyoga. Stanley and his men proceed to head towards the area where Dr. Xeno is at and proceeds to attack their base. They manage to fatally wound Ryusui and a number of other individuals associated with the Kingdom of Science. During the attack they also fatally wound Senku. Stanley reunites with Dr. Xeno where they exchange their greetings.
Stanley and his forces attempts to go after one the revival liquid during the attack but notices that a bright light has appeared over the horizon. Stanley realizes that Senku and his allies use one of the petrification devices in San Francisco to petrify everyone on the planet as a way to win the war against him. After contemplating his decisions onto whether to finish off Senku or to be petrified and kept as statue by his enemies in the future, Stanley concedes to being petrified because he realizes if his shot missed, he would have potentially destroyed the revival fluid and doom all of humanity. Stanley accepts that Senku's strategy is successful and that he will stay petrified and kept as a prisoner by them when they are depetrified later. The light eventually reaches Stanley, Xeno, and everyone else and humanity is petrified once again.
